We stopped for lunch at Peppe's during a motorcycle ride. We didn't have any directions or read any reviews. We were just hungry.
A wonderful place, with that trattoria-like warmth you look for in certain places. The meat was delicious and well-grilled, the staff was friendly and helpful. And last but not least, the prices were really fair.

Everything was perfect! From the friendly and professional service, to the homemade, trattoria-style food, both the pasta and the sauces. Grilled meat, more than decent house wine. The bill was very reasonable! The owner, Massimo, was incredibly friendly. I hope to return soon.

A rustic restaurant. The owner is amazing! He joked around with us and made us feel welcome. The bruschetta was delicious. A dish to try is the ravioli with spinach and ricotta topped with mushrooms. And the chocolate dessert with cherries was divine! We had a wonderful conversation with the owner and his mother after lunch which only enriched our experience. We were even given gifts as we were about to leave! The town is rustic and is the highest town in the Lazio region. The drive to the town is stunning. You can find good food in many places, but what remains with you is the hospitality of the owners and staff, all of whom were friendly and kind.

A few Saturdays ago we had lunch at this restaurant.
The appetizer was good, especially the cabbage and beans. The grilled meat, on the other hand, was not tasty at all and disappointed us. Too bad The sautéed chicory was tasty and also had boiled potatoes.!

Very good restaurant, above all excellent quality: very tender and full of flavor meat, real fried potatoes, pasta with sauce that tastes like home from the past. The staff is very kind, the prices are more than acceptable. Thanks to the height the place is a place where you can breathe fresh and good air we are in the Municipality of Capranica Prenestina, Guadagnolo locality. Very close by is the Mentorella sanctuary that is worth a trip.
