I’ve eaten at all the most renowned pizzerias in Naples — and, if forced to choose, I’d say Pellone is the most satisfying.
Unlike most pizzerias that serve pizzas too small to constitute a completely satiating meal (either verace/dinghy that are too small or cartwheel that are too thin), Pellone serves a gigantic pizza with cartwheel size but the heft of verace. Also, the margherita with mozzarella di bufala comes with nice big and thick globs of squeaky cheese. Absolutely delicious.
Every time I leave Pellone, I’m stuffed and happy.

I ordered Margarita and potato fries.
Very delicious and very cheap!!
I couldn't finish the pizza so I got a box and went back to the hotel and ate it for dinner. It was delicious even when cold..! 🍕

I went there because it was recommended for pizza, but I didn't have a positive outcome, it was too rubbery and not very economical. For 4, pizza drinks €91

Veramente eccezionale!
La pizza fritta costa un po’ di più ma è grande quasi quanto due rizze fritte normali classiche napoletane!
Idem le pizze, un po’ più care però enormi quindi stiamo là con i prezzi medi napoletani. Se poi si vuole considerare che pizze e pizze fritte sono eccezionali, beh allora questo è il posto giusto!
Sono stato in questo posto con la famiglia e siamo rimasti tutti contentissimi sia per la qualità, sia per la bontà, e sia per la quantità infatti diversi di noi non sono riuscita a mangiare tutta la pizza e l’hanno dovuto portare via.
Consigliatissima.
