What an amazing place, so much love for the craft from the people who work there. So much knowledge about wines. If you are open to trying wines, it is definitely recommended. Eating here is an experience. Delicious, I can't say otherwise; we went back to our hotel tipsy but 100% satisfied. Absolutely do this, but reservations are recommended, or like us, just walk in on the spur of the moment, because if you are late or don't show up at the agreed time, your table gets given away and there is actually space available. So it is worth just popping in.

By far the best dinning experience of our entire trip. The staff is so welcoming and entering. Pasquale makes everyone feel like a VIP. The food is amazing and the wine recommendations were spot on. We loved it so much are are planning a return trip specifically to Lucca for multiple days where we will surely be dining here more than once.

The atmosphere is very friendly, simple yet refined. The staff are kind, welcoming, and always available to accommodate those with intolerances or allergies. They welcome their customers like friends. The food is excellent and the portions are generous! Pasquale is a wonderful and very kind person; he even took us to see the wine cellar!!! Top!!!

Osteria da Pasquale is always one of the highlights of our time in Lucca….. it’s like coming home. Pasquale is a host like no other and over the years he’s become a friend. He turned me on to my favorite Brunello and my wife and I always have our mind blown at dinner. This last trip the Filet in truffle sauce and the pistachio encrusted pork chop was out of the world….. it was our first time in the new building and it was gorgeous. Came twice this trip and loved it downstairs. It felt like a private room! Pasquale… chi vediamo dopo amico mio… Grazie mille per tutto. Tutto era perfetto!!

I dined at this restaurant last night: in a particularly welcoming atmosphere, I enjoyed top-quality local specialties. Special mention goes to the service (both from the owner and the waiters) and the attentiveness and thoughtfulness shown to customers. Definitely an experience worth repeating!

We had a lovely meal here, but the experience was made even better was from the staff themselves especially pasquale himself who accommodated us when we arrived without a booking. They couldn’t do enough for us and the recommendations he advised were perfect.

Great food, great service and Pasquale is a great host! Even though the restaurant was fully booked, Pasquale wrote to us to arrange a table! More than 4000 wines and Pasquale is a worth listening storyteller about the origin of every bottle!
