Da Olindo In

I went to dinner with my partner at this place, which we've known about in Genoa but had never been to. The welcome was very pleasant, and the waiter's kindness and attentiveness were absolutely appreciated. You're immediately served a small plate of excellent focaccia and warm bread, accompanied by an equally excellent prosecco. We continued with two mixed seafood appetizers, both excellent and plentiful, and a fried fish dish and a cuttlefish buridda for main courses. All washed down with a pleasant cold Gewürztraminer. To finish, I decided to try the deconstructed cheesecake, and I didn't regret it. The price was right for the quality of food and service. What can I say, we'll definitely be back.

I rarely write negative reviews, but here the rating is clearly not up to par. The atmosphere is great, the service is also good. More questions about the menu and the dishes we ordered. The majority of the feedback is directed to the owners and the chef. The three tuna dish - 3 separate pieces of fish, without much taste and without any garnish - is not tasty and not filling at all. Or the frito misto - a small portion, without any sauce at all, also not tasty. All other dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce, trofi pesto, and vongole - were mediocre.

Truly a little gem just steps from the Nervi marina. The atmosphere is welcoming, the restaurant is well-maintained and quaint, with wonderful cross vaults. The food is truly excellent; we tried an appetizer (veal with tuna sauce) and two main courses (amberjack escalope and calamari all'Umberto e Umberto): everything was delicious, top-quality, and elegantly presented. Finally, perhaps best of all, the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful: we felt truly welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended!

Absolutely excellent food and service

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Seriously. It’s down to earth. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s not outrageous either. It’s great dining. I’ve been here with friends, for a romantic meal for two, and by myself. I’ve always been treated well with super service by the same cameriere. He’s exceptional. Yeah, make a reservation like everywhere in Italy now. It helps them plan for the night. The waiter always gives good advice, welcomes you with prosecco, gives you a free amaro or two at the end of a meal.., I love the food, but the service makes it a real treat so that I’ll return to over and over again. Perfect location for excellent seafood. Interesting twists and all the regular options too. They’ll likely adapt to your dietary needs if you just ask respectfully. I overheard several ask for changes to the dishes and the chef made them without any issue whatsoever. 10/10

Mainly fish-based dishes, truly exquisite, served with skill in a room with a very beautiful vaulted brick ceiling.

Best Italian food I try in Italie honestly the pasta homemade the taste so good excellent.

Delicious meal! The tuna bresaola was exactly that: lightly air-dried tuna, not just crude, delicious and original. The rabbit agnolotti are out of this world! Warm and friendly service and nice local digestif too!
