Douga Njiva snack bar is a great place to stop by. The food is tasty and freshly prepared, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. A nice spot to enjoy a quick meal or a snack.

We stopped out of curiosity, having noticed the restaurant was full several times... and we weren't disappointed! It's a great place to eat. The dishes are generously sized and the prices reasonable. I had a kind of pulled pork kebab pizza: the sauce was excellent and the dish delicious. We also ordered a meat and cheese pizza, which wasn't to our liking, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The place is still very pleasant and makes for an excellent stop on your route. Beware, though, tourists: the restaurant doesn't take cards, so don't forget cash.

I've been going to this place for several years and it's a sure thing. It's a very popular spot, so avoid rush hour, especially on weekends, especially for parking. Recommended for bikers. Note: cash only. The staff is quick and friendly. The place is accessible (I don't know if the bathroom is equipped). Generous portions, and they provide take-away containers if needed. A platter for two, a mixed house wine and two half-liter Radenske wines, are less than €40! What more could you want? They have non-stop service, which is a dream in Italy.

07/10/2025: Food is fantastic. Hyper local products. Pasta made in house. We had the plate of the day pasta with guanciale and one with pesto. Both excellent. Would go again and again.
22/08/2025: A truly unique place in Amelia. We came in for lunch and ordered two fabulous dishes (a pasta of the day and a baked scamorza with vegetables). It was impossible not to stop at the deli; we bought taralli and biscuits, but everything else looked truly inviting. Top!

13/07/2025: Nicoletta, the chef who welcomes those who wish to try her refined, homemade dishes into her home, offers a home restaurant experience in a wonderful location furnished with care and warmth. The vegetarian/vegan food is delicious, simple, and carefully crafted, embracing seasonality and the creativity of the moment, which guide her menus; from appetizers to dessert, it's a constant surprise. I appreciated everything, not only the dishes, all rigorously made by her own hands, including the excellent bread, but also the opportunity to experience the exclusivity of a lunch with my best friend, our only guests, served by a chef just for us who has thought of every detail to welcome us with so much love. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back, and I hope everyone can enjoy a lunch/dinner with her and a service that can't be found or bought in any restaurant... it's worth it!
13/07/2025: My first experience at a home restaurant, and it couldn't have gone better! Nicoletta welcomed us into her beautiful, carefully furnished and very welcoming home, and delighted us with excellent food, all prepared by her with so much love. A tasting of exquisite vegan cheeses, delicious homemade bread, spectacular first and second courses, and not to mention the delicious dessert!!! Besides the excellent food, being able to eat in a traditional home in the village is a truly worthwhile experience. Thank you, Nicoletta, we'll be back soon!
