Very good first courses, super carbonara. Excellent finger warmer hug. Friendly staff. They forgot a few dishes but it's absolutely worth it.

In the historic restaurant in Testaccio you can find a good level of quality. The place is welcoming and characteristic. A little noisy due to the beautiful vaulted ceiling. A little more culinary attention on the typical dishes of the fifth quarter would be beneficial.

This place was recommended to us by a taxi driver who accompanied us to Piazza di Spagna, asking where we could taste some typical dishes. Excellent recommendation, good food, attentive, fast and attentive service. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate prices.
I recommend 100% 👍🏻

Historic restaurant, renovated in its furnishings.
Traditional Roman cuisine menu.
If you want to eat typical dishes this is the right place.
The fifth quarter is present in many dishes, the pajata alla cacciatora is a must try, this is one of the few restaurants in Rome that offers it on the menu.

We tried the carbonara, the amatriciana, ad the lamb (abbacchio), and everything was incredible! I highly recommend the carbonara as it was one of the best carbonara I have ever had!

The restaurant is super nice, but 1. The cacio e pepe was with oil (and it wasn't just me who said this, but also all the friends who were with me and ordered a portion) 2. To serve products from the Roman cuisine 45 euros each is really too much. Of course, the environment and service are certainly there, but the bill does not reflect either the quality of the place or the dishes served.

The Trattoria Romana da Oio is a must-see for anyone visiting Rome. As a good Roman, I would highly recommend it: every dish on the chosen menu was able to win me over. My curiosity was mainly aimed at the carbonara, and I must say that it lived up to my high expectations. Congratulations indeed!
The service was impeccable: friendly, professional and authentically Roman staff, which adds a special touch to the experience.
Among the dishes tried, in addition to the carbonara, the Roman artichoke stands out, tasty and delicate! To end on a sweet note, the tiramisu is excellent, but their cream and sour cherry tart is highly recommended... it will be my choice for the next visit!

Typical trattoria with traditional Roman dishes: carbonara, cacio e pepe, tripe and oxtail. Excellent and quick service. Parking difficult. Price normal.
