Tradizione a tutto spiano, dalla prima all’ultima riga del menu. Abbiamo provato: antipasto romano, carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, carciofi alla romana, puntarelle, verza e patate, torta della nonna, torta ricotta e visciole, ciambelle al vino. Il resto la prossima volta, perché torneremo di sicuro.

The Trattoria Romana da Oio is a must-see for anyone visiting Rome. As a good Roman, I would highly recommend it. My curiosity was mainly aimed at the carbonara, and I must say that it lived up to my high expectations. Congratulations indeed!
The service was impeccable: friendly, professional and authentically Roman staff, which adds a special touch to the experience.
Among the dishes tried, in addition to the carbonara, the Roman artichoke stands out, tasty and delicate! The amatriciana could be improved as I would have preferred a crispier bacon, but the sauce was really good! To end on a sweet note, the tiramisu is excellent, but their cream and sour cherry tart is highly recommended by the staff.

I arrived at 19:00 on a weekday, it was empty but it didn't bother me, 10 minutes later people arrived, the service was very professional, in terms of the food it is unlike anything that is prepared in Israel, people swoon over the pasta, me less so, it was tasty but nothing special Special, the beef dish was fine, the sauce was excellent, dessert was excellent, and limoncello at the end closes the meal, 3 course meal and limoncello - 51€. But the service is above all.

Very good first courses, super carbonara. Excellent finger warmer hug. Friendly staff. They forgot a few dishes but it's absolutely worth it.

In the historic restaurant in Testaccio you can find a good level of quality. The place is welcoming and characteristic. A little noisy due to the beautiful vaulted ceiling. A little more culinary attention on the typical dishes of the fifth quarter would be beneficial.

Locale di cucina tipica romana. Ambiente pulito e di ottima qualità i cibi. Personale simpatico e gentile. Rigatoni con pajata Top. La zona è piena di locali tipici, ma lui credo sia da podio.
