Da Nonna Pina In Malcesine

The food was very good (especially the aglio e olio pasta), and the service was excellent. The ambiance was nice, but not particularly special and a bit cramped.

Great food, good service with polite staff which is hard to find in Italy. Tucked away off busy streets.

A really nice little restaurant in Malcesine. Discovered thanks to the excellent reviews. We called to book in the evening for lunch the next day, very helpful. Lunch for two. Friendly staff who welcomed us immediately. You can choose whether to eat inside (in the cool air conditioning) or outside. Menu with many dishes, many typical products of the lake. We opted for a fresh and delicious veal with tuna sauce and a trout with side dishes included in the price. The style of the restaurant is very nice, it recalls a bit of grandmother's dialect sayings and a bit of modernity. Karaoke background music that makes you feel at home. Absolutely worth trying! Prices are normal.

Simply good Italian cuisine. It was a delight. The service was very friendly and the cozy little corner to eat in was worth a visit, away from the chaos of the lake. Nicely located in an alley, where you can simply enjoy the moment. Thank you for the wonderful experience. 🤗🫶🏻🍷

Spinat Gnocchi and house vine. A very good combination. Very tasty.

We were here for dinner. We had vitello tonnato and insalata mista as antipasti, and orecchiette and baby octopus as main courses. From the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was truly top-notch! The octopus, in particular, was a culinary highlight!

A very nice little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is very good, typically regional, and not overpriced. The service is very good, and even without a reservation, you can get a seat if possible. Customers' requests are taken into account.

Immerso nei vicoli di Malcesine, questo fantastico ristorante si contraddistingue per l’ottima cucina, il personale attento l’ambiente allegro e conviviale. Ci tornerò sicuramente, assolutamente consigliato. Ravioli di zucca pazzeschi!! Ps. Degustate il loro olio e ve ne innamorerete!

Despite somewhat mixed reviews, we decided to try Trattoria Nonna Pina, on a recent stay in Malcesine. In terms of atmosphere/ambience, I didn't feel any warmth of welcome, or indeed made to feel particularly comfortable whilst we were there. Staff were not overly friendly or attentive. Food was OK, but nothing special as such. Menu is fairly limited so do look beforehand to ensure there is something for you. I went for lasagne, safe option, but I've certainly had better, whereas I hoped in Italy this would be the best. Prices are typical for the town, so value for money was OK. Sadly, this wouldn't be my first place to return. I must admit I felt disappointed after our meal and wished we had chosen one of the other numerous eateries in the town.
