It was recommended to us by our B&B You arrive and the window already says it all with the lady preparing one of their typical dishes on the spot (tordelli). Their cake with beaks is also good. Friendly and prepared staff

Loved this place! Proper hearty Tuscan food done really well. We had a big meat and cheese board to start — loads of cured meats, a nice variety of cheese, and some pickled veg in the middle which cut through it all nicely. The chestnut pasta with sausage and mushrooms was rich and earthy, super comforting. I had the porchetta with roast potatoes — crispy, juicy, and full of flavour. The wild boar stew was incredible too, really tender and served with creamy polenta. Everything felt super rustic and homemade. This was our second visit in a week!

Food was delicious. Pasta was being handmade in the window as we walked by before the lunch hour. Service was good and attentive. Beautiful outside patio area.

Nice day spent in Lucca.. I really recommend this restaurant, the service is really top, as is the cuisine, we had a great time and ate very well, a big thank you to the really kind waitress, the pastry at the entrance was top

We are always looking for a nice authentic peposo. And with Nonna in the restaurant name we were hopeful that grandma’s recipe was on point. Sad to say that it was fatty gristly meat in a meh sauce. Other items on the menu may be ok but the peposo has got to be a hard pass. Our server was nice and comped us a glass of regular wine when he saw he only had one glass left in the bottle of the good chianti. Might give the restaurant another chance because it has good people in a nice homey tuscan atmosphere, but no peposo.

Muy ocupado trattoria pero el personal excelente se mantuvo amable durante todo el tiempo. Deliciosa bruschetta, sopa de ribollita y pasta, así como vino decente. Asientos interiores y exteriores en la pequeña plaza. ¡Repetir cliente!

04/05/2025: Tavolata di 20, quindi non facile gestione. Lui bravissimo, tipico toscano padrone di casa quasi intrattenitore! Assaggio di tutto, menù quasi da matrimonio… e per soli 35€ a testa! Consigliato per venirci dalla Versilia… da rifare!!

13/05/2025: We were once rustic and well-kept environment. Good home-made food, price a little high. We took 1 appetizer 2 first courses 2 second courses 2 bottles of water 87 euros all in all the quality was good
