One night we didn't know what to eat in the area, so we chose this. The service was lovely, if you want to eat quickly in the area it's absolutely ideal.

We were very satisfied. The food (pasta salsiccia, lasagna, and pasta rague) was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive, fulfilling every request not only for us adults but also for our children very quickly. The daily special, fried offal (a local specialty), was also very delicious. Absolutely recommend it!

We stayed in lovely Lucca for 3 nights and ate at Nonna's twice. Absolutely delicious food (and wine!) lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff. Would stay in Lucca again, just to eat here!!! Can easily eat here for €20 each, but we did have a few extras.

We were drawn to the lady making dough in the window, and decided to go in. Excellent service, fast, precise, and knowledgeable staff. We ordered tagliatelle with sausage and porcini mushrooms (excellent), ravioli with lamb (very good), and finally the Angus steak (good, but overcooked on the outside). Highly recommended.

E' un classico locale fatto apposta per attirare turisti e stavolta ha attirato anche noi. All'interno è abbastanza piccolo arredato in modo accattivate, con tanti utensili da cucina appesi al soffitto, in modo da sembrare una vecchia cucina di campagna ma, a mio parere, creano solo confusione. Alcuni piatti che abbiamo assaggiato sono buoni, come i ravioli, che una signora fa vedere in vetrina come si preparano. Delusione dagli antipasti e da un filetto con lardo e carciofi, non di gran qualità.

Animado y atractivo restaurante en una de las calles peatonales centrales de Lucca donde disfrutamos de excelentes tortellini al ragu, filete y vino tinto local. La factura llegó a unos razonables 65 €. 50 .

16/07/2025: Here you could taste a lot of wine: six different types, three reds, and three whites. Here you were also served a lot of good food, as well as water. A very beautiful vineyard surrounded by beautiful nature.

05/09/2025: The restaurant is generally very good and the food tastes excellent. The only drawbacks are the small portions and the constant traffic of cars and motorcycles through the alleys where the restaurant is located, which is extremely disruptive and significantly impairs the atmosphere and smell. Our table of eight people, including one person in a wheelchair, was pushed in by a car because it couldn't pass. The municipality should be aware that, at least during the tourist season, the town should be reserved for pedestrians. Otherwise, tourists might refrain from visiting the town, which would lead to economic losses. The approval of this regulation by the city is irresponsible. It would be advisable not to allow terraces in the narrow alleys, but this would lead to lower revenue.
