The cuttlefish and polenta (Seppie alla veneziana, Venetian cuttlefish and polenta) was absolutely delicious! The fish was generously portioned, full of flavor, and incredibly tender. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The waiter, who spoke Chinese, was incredibly friendly and explained the polenta ingredients in detail, even checking to see if we were used to the flavor. The accompanying bread was incredibly soft—the softest and most delicious I'd had in my two weeks in Italy. Paired with the olive oil and vinaigrette, we practically devoured it all! The restaurant itself was incredibly cozy, and the food and service were warm and perfect. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

A really nice and quiet place. We found it randomly while looking for somewhere to eat seafood. I ordered pasta with mixed seafood and my partner got octopus. Both were delicious and we finished the night with a homemade tiramisu, I recommend it as well!

¡Comida y servicio espectacular! Evite los restaurantes demasiado caros del Gran Canal y diríjase a esta joya del barrio. El pez espada con salsa y los raviolis son totalmente únicos. Y la carbonara y la boloñesa eran las mejores fuera de Roma.

30/11/2025: It must be said that if the name is Osteria CICCHETTERIA, but at 1 pm on Saturday they ran out of cicchetti (which are also part of the menu!), perhaps something in the kitchen organization needs rethinking?! The pairing of mantecati was good, even if the slices of bread that accompanied them (along with the polenta) seemed more like stale bread than bruschetta. The bavette allo scoglio came with the spaghetti!!... the flavor of the sauce was good. The outdoor tables are a bit crowded for my taste, but that's always a welcome touch on a beautiful sunny day. The service was inattentive: they got the wrong delivery to the table and it seemed like it was our fault!!! (Given that there was no need to blame anyone!!!). Definitely an experience we won't repeat.
