I simply fell in love with this place! I found it by chance and returned several times during my holiday. Fabulous dishes (meat and fish) and courtesy as a gift, the best thing is the open kitchen where the chef reigns supreme! The price is humble and normal. I simply recommend it 10+

This restaurant deserves more stars and ratings. One of the best foods we had while we were in Italy. We tried the Bolognese, the clam and mussels pasta, the carbonara and also we requested for a twist in the pink shrimps or baby shrimps with salt and pepper and they did it for us and it was out of the world. They had wine and other options and they definitely did their best to cater us though we spoke no Italian. If we had more time we would have eaten from this place a couple more times for sure. No regrets and finger licking good. Maybe not so posh but i feel hungry again just seeing these pictures

On a Sunday in February Da Nello was one of the few places we found open. Nice place, the typical trattoria. At the counter there are various second or fried dishes. We ordered Sorrento gnocchi and spaghetti with mussels. Neither cheese nor bread was served, I understand that it is a tourist place and tourists are not used to accompanying it with bread, but if you see Italians... even good gnocchi, the quality of the gnocco could certainly be improved and a better supplier could be found. The spaghetti however was undercooked and full of garlic. The amount of garlic completely covered the flavor of the fresh fish (seeing with my own eyes how clean the mussels were), a shame.

My spaghetti vongole was the best pasta I have had in a long time, a piece of bread would have been nice but I guess it was up to me to order that.

The rating I gave to this place is related to its type and what is expected. In fact, despite being a restaurant with a decidedly tourist target, both for the environment and for the very rich menu (there is everything) we ate really well there for little money. The lady who greeted and served us was very hospitable and kind.
