An absolute must if you're in the area. We received a very warm welcome and excellent advice, even though we're not really wine connoisseurs. The food is exquisite, prepared with fresh ingredients and lovingly presented. We'll be back.

A true osteria, a true host. The food is good, with unique dishes, and the service is much appreciated. Since I didn't pay, I don't know if the quality/price ratio is good. Not being local, I'd say the location isn't exactly convenient; you'll have to look for it.

I loved the food, and even more the wine choice. The chef/owner was very friendly. The final bill was very reasonably priced as well. Overall a very pleasant experience

quality and friendliness are the 2 positive things. menu with particular dishes and right combinations. only negative note: the quantities. given the cost of the dishes and the location you expect to have quantities from an old tavern but unfortunately it remains light. the host is a host. he has the country friendliness that is needed. overall sufficient

It is always a pleasure to return to Morris. More than a dinner, it is an experience that is renewed each time with coherence and intelligence. His cuisine has a concrete, living identity that goes beyond the usual patterns of the “list” menu. We came on Saturday evening. all excellent food, service and wines. Thank you for also explaining the type of wine you tried. highly recommended. P.S. the restaurant is located in a very narrow street but further ahead you can find a car park.

03/10/2025: We had such a lovely dinner here and it was the best way to end our trip! Raouf, the owner, had a wonderful disposition and welcomed us with open arms. The vibe was cozy and restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was excellent (we ordered branzino and pasta - 100% the best branzino we've ever had and the pasta was fantastic as well)! They also make a really excellent Limoncello in-house that we highly recommend trying! Raouf's service was above and beyond: There was someone servicing the building outside and we noticed Raouf kindly conversing with him and gifting him wine after the worker completed the job for the day. We ended up discovering Raouf's Restaurant and Hotel the last night of our vacation, but we will absolutely be returning to stay here at his hotel and dine at the restaurant the next time we visit the Como, Italy area again!

Ristorante Croce di Malta

10/10/2025: I went to the Croce di Malta restaurant for a wedding. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by greenery and offering plenty of space, even for the little ones, with a small area dedicated entirely to them. The restaurant's interior is beautiful and well-organized, with a circular room that creates a sense of unity and allows all guests to stay connected. Last but not least, the service was impeccable. The waiters were always attentive to our needs and were available for anything we needed. Highly recommended!
