A great Sicilian restaurant off the beaten track! The welcome is charming, the cuisine creative yet truly Sicilian. And the bill is reasonable. I particularly recommend the (real) ricotta cannolis 🤩

The food is always wonderful, from the first courses to the second courses, the fried fish (which is my favourite), the fish is fresh, the place is the typical Bolognese trattoria with that retro taste that I adore, the staff is always very welcoming, and in the kitchen the chefs know how to do their job very well 👍👍👍

It is the first time I have eaten a fish menu in the city center and I must say that I was amazed and satisfied by the quality and flavor of the dishes tasted. My guests also appreciated both the food and the kindness and friendliness of the service. The Luciana-style octopus and cod meatballs are excellent, followed by the spaghettoni with mussels, clams and cherry tomatoes. The tuna carpaccio is excellent and the mixed frying or fried food is sublime. For dessert, the cream puffs and the decomposed cannoli are excellent! The Sicilian wines offered are noteworthy.

Nice find!
Courtesy and competence in the service and good hand in the kitchen.
Scallops, dry passatelli, pasta with sardines, octopus. All very good. I will definitely keep the address.
Time consuming but worth it 😜

Abbiamo preso lo spaghettone con polpa di canocchie, peperoncino ecc...saporito, troppo distinguo poco la freschezza del pesce. Sarde a beccafico buone , ma stesso discorso.Non ho provato il fritto. Il vino in bottiglia fa levitare i prezzi. Per questo prezzo si potrebbe pretendere di più.

Da Maro è situato in una stradine tipiche della vecchia Bologna, vicino al centro storico, dentro le mura. Un locale quasi storico, piacevole nell'arredamento. Un pregio importante: uno dei pochi ristoranti di pesce a Bologna, di ispirazione/tradizione siciliana, con contaminazioni. Piatti buoni, ben cucinati. Personale attento

Worth trying again perhaps to give it a second chance.
The first courses are good, I would especially recommend the pasta with sardines.
The latter didn't satisfy me. I was a little disappointed by the quality-price ratio: especially for the second courses I thought it was too high. Maybe I had high expectations just for the menu description. Given the place was practically empty, we waited longer than expected...
The place is nice, particular.
