10/10/2025: We had lunch at Ristorante La Douia as a group of six, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The restaurant was quite busy, which immediately gave us the impression that it’s somewhat of a local gem — and judging by the number of locals dining there, that certainly seems to be the case. La Douia offers both a generous buffet option and a full à la carte menu, which gives guests a nice variety depending on their appetite and preference. We decided to order à la carte, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care and high-quality ingredients. From the antipasti to the main courses, everything had that unmistakable homemade Italian touch. There was a small mix-up with the antipasti and primi piatti, but the staff handled it with professionalism and kindness. The service overall was very good — friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant being quite full. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with that authentic, local charm that makes you feel instantly welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell people come back again and again — not just for the excellent food, but for the genuine hospitality. All in all, Ristorante La Douia is a place we would absolutely return to.
