I gave the ambiance five stars because I believe judgment is highly subjective and time-sensitive. So, that kind of atmosphere is very close to my lifestyle—spartan, no-frills, but with substance. The other night, it was even more so because I needed to spend time in an environment like Marisa's. We entered another dimension, a 1960s/70s feel, where the atmosphere is imbued with family and friendship. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the dishes have a time-honored flavor I'd almost forgotten. My biggest sin, if I ever commit it, will be not returning.

Homemade cuisine - a real delight served with attention - speed - and a lot of kindness despite the language barrier - we had a very good time - I really appreciated the red wine in a carafe that I couldn't find anywhere - I highly recommend - what's more the terrace is near a canal

The food is very good, a two-course daily menu for €20. A small carafe of wine, a small water, and an espresso are also included. Is it expensive? I don't know. It suits me.
The staff tries to quickly accommodate customers, the atmosphere is "homey," and there are plenty of customers.
It's definitely worth a visit and a bite to eat.

This place serves traditional dishes that are rich, rustic, and unapologetically greasy, in the best possible way.
It gets quite busy at lunchtime, so expect a full house and a little waiting. Although the staff didn’t speak Spanish, they made a real effort to understand us and provide great service — which we truly appreciated.
The pasta was very good, and the guanciale stew was especially delicious — flavorful, tender, and comforting. A great stop if you’re craving something honest and homemade within 20 euro budget.

A simple, homey restaurant. It serves students and workers at lunchtime at competitive prices. The food is good and plentiful, and the service is exceptional. Dinner is more expensive, but being in Venice, it's normal for prices to rise. I think it's a must-visit for every Ca' Foscari student.
