We found this place while looking for a traditional restaurant in the Monferrato area. The young man who served us was extremely kind; the only flaw was that he didn't provide us with a menu, but instead listed the options verbally in great detail. We opted for the cold appetizers, which were all extremely good and served on a tray. We could also order a larger portion upon request without any extra charge. We also ordered a hot dish, and since we were full, we asked to take away the leftovers, and everything was prepared for us without any problems. Overall, a very positive experience. However, I recommend using the menu with a price list to avoid surprises (which we didn't have, as we paid a more than fair bill) and to cover any allergens. The young man, probably with a hotel training background, is a true professional. Kind, quick, and professional. Highly recommended. The location's rating is low because the place has remained frozen in time for at least twenty years, and because the small outdoor terrace with a view hadn't been set up even though it was July. Recommended.

Everything was excellent, from the food to the service and the view.

In stagione (maggio e’ ideale) impossibile perdere uno dei migliori pranzi di asparagi dell’intero Piemonte. Ci torniamo da anni, anche più volte nel mese, e, sempre, la soddisfazione è tanta. Noi siamo affezionati a quattro piatti: l’intingolo (con un favoloso extravergine), i piccoli asparagi con salsa tartara, la golosa frittata ed il risotto (che stavolta ci è sembrato ancora più buono del solito. 35€ con una ottima Barbera di Imarisio. Bravissimi!!!

Excellent place, great food and good wine. The panoramic window with a view of the rice fields is beautiful.

As always, in this period, one of the best asparagus menus you can find.

Bella posizione con vista sul Monferrato. La cucina è molto buona e abbondante oltre che genuina. Da provare gli ottimi antipasti monferrini freddi e caldi. Buoni anche gli agnolotti con un ragù forse un pò troppo oleoso. La salsa verde per il bollito è particolare. La Signora che serve in tavola è gentile e rapida. Ci torneremo!
