It's been years since I've been here...I have to say the pizza here is phenomenal...very good and light.

I really have to give a shout out to Marcello Pizzeria. A true institution and a point of reference: in Carpi for 67 years! We showed up in August without a reservation (there were few people) and were seated right away. We ordered a couple of pizzas, including the special Marinella with the addition of grilled smoked ham (after baking). Pizza Marinella: Tomato puree, shredded burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, black pepper, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil. After a short wait, the pizza arrived, and it was truly delicious; not a single crumb was left. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, thin in the center with beautiful edges. Excellently cooked in a wood-fired oven! In the end, the bill surprised us: only €27 for two people, including drinks. The only flaw in this place, in my opinion, is the inadequate soundproofing. Even though the room was half empty and the door to the outside was open, the volume of the voices was high.

All good, inside the environment is very noisy

The pizza was quite good, I didn't like the atmosphere, it was so noisy that you couldn't even talk.
