Small restaurant feels like being at home, very welcoming, wonderful staff, delicious home-made food

We were passing through Riano and were looking for a place to have dinner. We found this place that had great reviews and wanted to give it a try. First of all, it is a home restaurant. To welcome us at the entrance we found Mandolino, an attentive and friendly host. The restaurant consists of two dining rooms for about twenty people. We had 4 appetizers, consisting of cold cuts, crostini with janduia, sheep's ricotta with jam, Roman tripe (wonderful) and beans. First we had two carbonaras and two tagliolini with bacon and wild asparagus. As a second course, grilled chicken and three pork loins with wild fennel. Wine, water and coffee killer. In 4 €.90,00. Overall, a great place to eat. I recommend it.

Excellent dinner: homemade pasta and shin that cut just by looking at it. Friendly and familiar staff! Honest prices.

So for me at Mandolino you can find that feeling of going to eat at grandma's, and grandma cooked like a god. So the quality/price ratio is all there, anyone who criticizes the cuisine, for me they can also go to great lengths ' Chinese dar.

Honestly a nice surprise... mother and son (the chef owner) are uniquely familiar. We ate very well. We will definitely be back!
