Today is a holiday and most restaurants are closed. We were just passing by and wanted to eat! This restaurant has low ratings, but it was open. And we are happy!, this is the best restaurant during these three days of our stay in Italy (Naples, Matera..). Excellent service, high quality products and expertly prepared. The price is absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take a photo.. The food was served in a high-class restaurant. Thank you and prosperity to you!

Quality and seriousness are the two things you think of when you leave this place. Excellent raw materials and impeccable cuisine. great praise also goes to the person who served us throughout lunch, very attentive and professional. Compliments !

In transit from Calabria to Basilicata, we found this place using the Osteria d'Italia guide. We stopped for lunch, it was just us. One of the best fish meals ever tasted! Each dish prepared with very fresh fish and with balanced and perfectly guessed flavor combinations. The boy who served us was very knowledgeable about the dishes and the excellent wine he offered us. Quality/price very adequate for the quality. Compliments!

In transito dalla Calabria alla Basilicata, abbiamo trovato questo locale utilizzando la guida Osterie d' Italia. Ci siamo fermati a pranzo, c'eravamo solo noi. Uno dei migliori pasti di pesce mai degustati! Ogni piatto preparato con pesce freschissimo e con delle combinazioni di gusti bilanciati e perfettamente indovinati. Il ragazzo che ci ha servito preparatissimo sulle pietanze e sul vino eccellente che ci ha proposto. Qualità/prezzo adeguatissimo alla qualità. Complimenti!

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.
07/12/2024: Scalea d'inverno si svuota, molti locali ed hotel chiudono, ma il delizioso ristorante Tari resiste per la fortuna del viaggiatore fuori stagione. Interni molto curati, servizio accogliente ed attento, una cucina di alto livello, una buona cantina locale. Ottima l'insalata di baccalà, ottimo il millefoglie di verdure, così come i paccheri all'astice. Nessun ombra, tutto perfetto. Costi proporzionati alla qualità.
