I had often heard about this pizzeria in Ostia and after a while I decided to go and visit. Informal environment with few seats but with a high frequency of people. Quick table service even though it was a Saturday evening. The fried foods offered are very good and light. There are pizzas on the menu of all flavors and sizes and they are very particular. The prices are really popular and I must say that this does not affect the quality of the products. Definitely a place to spend a few hours with family and friends.

Pizza that costs slightly more than other pizzerias but it's worth it

Special giant pizzas plus flavors of your choice to share with friends. The dough used for the pizza is excellent. The sweet pizza is also delicious. Too bad the service was a little slow considering it was a day in the middle of the week.

Excellent pizza eaten on the terrace. There is a huge choice with original recipes. Friendly service and good command of English.

Ever since I was a child I have been coming to eat pizza at Il Campione, once upon a time there weren't even tables but you could only order takeaway or pizza by the slice. Absolutely the best pizza (Roman and not Neapolitan) in Ostia. In the last period, if I may say so, it has changed a bit. The dough became really too thin, almost like a piadina, and therefore quite tasteless. I'm not crazy about the seasoning, obviously there are those who like it, but honestly I wouldn't add oregano and various spices to the sauce because it creates too much of a flavor that dulls that of the tomato itself. They often use this condiment abroad, and traveling frequently it feels more like eating a good pizza, but outside of Italy, precisely because of the sauce issue. I would avoid using so many spices and focus more on the classic tomato, basil, salt and oil. Moreover, the renovated restaurant is pleasant, the kitchen in plain sight is always a plus, and the waiters are young and helpful.

giant pizza with fresh ingredients, really delicious. Particularly good taste with figs and ham. The fried foods as a starter are excellent.

I don't think it's suitable for eating in Via delle Azore, otherwise the pizza is very good
