Delicious 🤤 A phenomenal dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was excellent! attentive and warm throughout. But I have to single out the Rigatoni alla carbonara di crostacei! it’s one of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area.

What a wonderful discovery! We found this restaurant almost by accident and were truly delighted. The fish was incredibly fresh and of excellent quality. We chose the tasting menu, with carefully planned, balanced dishes and generous portions, allowing you to enjoy each dish without overdoing it. The staff was very kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. A truly pleasant experience that won us over. We'll definitely be back!

This week's gastronomic investigation takes Watson and me to Marano Ticino. The place under investigation is "Lello Pescheria con Cucina." It often happens that in small towns, certain establishments that serve food on weekends are fishmongers, delicatessens, or butchers for the locals on other days. Lello Pescheria con Cucina is one of these establishments. So we decide on this inspection, and at 7:15 pm on Saturday, we're already at the front door of this restaurant where seafood is the cornerstone of the tasting menus (there are three) and the à la carte menu. Members of the family that runs the place move among the tables (while Lello is in the outdoor garden enjoying the cool air): they are all very kind and attentive, with a very simple and casual manner that puts you at ease. We opt for the €40 tasting menu, which includes: smoked tuna carpaccio, octopus with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and Taggiasca olives, smoked salmon, seafood salad, and scallops; This is the appetizer. Paccheri with shrimp, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, pesto, and pistachios is the first course, and a mixed fried fish with battered vegetables is the second course on this menu. One dessert from a generous selection is included, as well as coffee, a half-liter of white wine, and a half-liter of mineral water. The portions are adequate, and everything is good quality. The courses are served at the right pace, and everything is very digestible (which is not a given when it comes to fried foods and seasoned dishes). The restaurant is welcoming (even if decorated with the usual seaside and fishing themes typical of restaurants on the Italian Riviera) and very clean and tidy. Overall, a positive experience.

Finally a charming location with good food...I recommend it to everyone...the staff are kind and courteous...see you soon...thanks for everything! Excellent fish...a business lunch for 13 euros with excellent fish...even paella, plus air conditioning...it feels like you're eating right in front of the sea...obviously tasting menus...special and à la carte menus, really excellent value for money, and cooked really well by humble, smiling people who make you spend carefree moments like with family...obviously a fresh fish counter where you can buy it like at a fishmonger's...fantastic and recommended to everyone!
