The service from the staff was excellent, especially one lady who greeted us with great kindness and dedication. It's clear that the team works hard and wants to make their customers feel welcome. Unfortunately, during the meal, we could hear shouting and insults coming from inside, apparently from the owner toward the employees. This was very unpleasant and partially ruined the experience. It's a real shame, because the restaurant has so much potential and a truly valuable staff. Treating those who make a restaurant run well is an integral part of the customer experience. I hope they'll reflect on this.

A very good lunch menu! For €12 I got: linguine pescatora, scallopini in wine with baked potatoes, bread, and a large bottle of water. I didn't try the pizzas, but they looked good! The service is casual but good!

The pizza was delicious and thin. The service was good. It didn't take long for the wine and water to arrive the next day. A favorite with locals and regularly recommended.

We had the tagliolini with scampi and the trofie with pesto. The first courses were good, the only real downside was the dried parsley in them, which gave them an unpleasant flavor; fresh ones are always better. The second courses were really good. Generous portions. The service was a bit chaotic. The atmosphere was that of an osteria. Prices were average.

We ate here three times over four nights in Chiavari, it was that good. And it was our choice for our final Chiavari meal too! Convenient location in the centre, excellent pizza and pasta both. We recommend the Pizza Genovese, Pizza Quattro Formaggi (four cheese), Pasta allo scoglio, and Linguine Vongole.

Typical Ligurian tavern, very fresh and abundant fish dishes, very good pizza and pizzata. The cheese focaccia is a little too dry for my taste (but it's a matter of taste, I like it softer). The waiters are all kind and friendly. Excellent value for money

Reachable by ferry, on foot, or with your own boat, looking for passage from the mooring buoy to the beach, it's a destination that will fill your heart, stomach, and memory. Da Giovanni is a historic restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine and the freshest seafood. I tried the shrimp spaghetti and their grilled fish and left the table feeling deeply satisfied. Excellent value for money, courteous service. The setting of San Fruttuoso is enchanting: a swim in the early morning light or at sunset is the best option, because the tourists who flock to this paradise are elsewhere. A visit to the abbey is worth it. You arrive and depart to the music of the waves. To maximize the experience, we stayed at Da Giovanni: new, comfortable rooms, equipped with a coffee machine, snacks, and water. For breakfast, you have to wait until 9:30 because croissants and fresh focaccia arrive on the first boat. Absolutely worth trying 🤩😎
