We chose this place for a dinner with friends. Very welcoming, we dine under the Casermetta Santa Croce, a bastion of Lucca's historic walls. The waiters were friendly, and we ordered all the dishes: 👍😋 spelt, tortelli, farinata, cod with leeks, cuttlefish with chard... and much more that we will definitely return to taste. Tradition and quality. The dishes, especially—something not always taken for granted—arrived at the same time. Well done, see you soon.

Great classic regional food. Huge menu and great service from well trained wait staff. we started with perfect bean soup and burrata salad. veal dishes for mains. Great House wine. Good prices. Easy access as you step down from a city wall walk.

I haven't eaten this well in a long time! It's worth making a reservation if you want to sit outside.
