Don't miss it!!!! Immersed in the nature of Prato Magno! it's an excellent refreshment point!! Abundant appetizers and well-made traditional first courses!!! Good meat!! Polite and very helpful staff, they let us eat at 4pm even though the kitchen was closed by then! Very kind! Excellent value for money! Also excellent for a snack with a nice dessert or a snack platter with cold cuts and cheeses!!! In short, you will want to come back!!! Tables both inside and outside so even if the weather is bad you can enjoy an excellent meal at high altitude!!! From here with a nice walk of 45 minutes or so you get to the Cross with a spectacular view! From Trasimeno to Florence!

I've been there several times to eat: good starters but first and second courses not exceptional, I'd say edible. Waiters a little busy and distracted given the amount of people who come in the summer months. Prices a little more expensive than average but this is okay given the location of the restaurant. Average desserts. Good air!!!! 😉

Good quality and well cooked food, very kind staff and nice environment. We spent 75 Euros (2 people) for 2 first courses, 2 second courses and 2 side dishes and a half liter of house wine... and we left hungry... the portions are certainly not abundant.

Il clima che si respira è quella di un rifugio montano. I piatti sono buonissimi a prezzi onesti. Il gran sorriso della cameriera mette il buon umore! Una piacevole dista prima della passeggiata alla croce di pratomagno. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Location surrounded by nature, well-kept environment typical of these areas. Good traditional food; the only flaw in my opinion: the size of the portions which could be a little more generous. Friendly and helpful staff.

09/03/2025: A fresh enchanted garden for the summer, a beautiful fireplace, a warm soul for the winter. Pass and stop in tranquility and relaxation in the middle of the green heart of the Romito which beats gently near a stupendous watercourse and immersed in a tiny and delightful clearing, where it is possible to stop briefly even with a camper. Contact the very kind managers with confidence, who will be able to welcome and advise you with discreet and safe hospitality. Even for those arriving from further away, the villages and the beautiful surrounding countryside are worthy of a visit and stops, goodbye everyone.

La Bottega Di Montemercole

02/02/2025: Pranzo con un gruppo di amici, accoglienza cortese, gentilezza e premura durante l’intero pasto. Prodotti di loro produzione, piatti cucinati secondo tradizione, gustosi e abbondanti. Ci torneremo.
29/01/2025: Dall'esterno il locale quasi non si nota e sembra piuttosto un negozio di generi alimentari. All'interno però ci sono cinque tavoli apparecchiati semplicemente, mentre spiccano un banco frigorifero pieno di prelibatezze e vari scaffali pieni di vini, marmellate ecc. Il menu scritto su alcune lavagne elenca soprattutto piatti tipici toscani, tutti (almeno quelli sperimentati) di eccellente qualità. Il personale è incredibilmente attento e servizievole, ben al di sopra della media regionale. Il conto assai ragionevole. Un ottimo indirizzo per chi cerca semplicità e piatti genuini!
