Nice restaurant, great place to have lunch al fresco. Good food but... everything prepared in advance and that's fine, but at least the grill should be smoking hot when they serve it... It gave me the impression of being on an assembly line. Anyway good, definitely worth going back to.

Restaurant bar on Pratomagno at the foot of the peak where the famous Cross is located. Typical location, in wood with many outdoor seats. Fresh and quiet despite the many customers. Decent choice of dishes and intelligent choice to do 3/4 fixed menus. Kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended

I ate yesterday (21/06/25) for lunch under the name Antonio da Cascina fixed menu appetizer 3 tastings of first course water a quarter of red wine... good price service, Carmen a guarantee even the new employees are joyful. Then a lot of hail meteorally speaking.

What you don't expect... To find a finely furnished mountain chalet with a lit fireplace. The menu is not very varied but I think there is food for all tastes. The quality is also absolutely indisputable. The portions were not very generous but it must also be said that the price is very good considering the location. Basic but efficient service without major problems. I recommend it for a meal in a different environment than usual.

Giocondo is our fixed stop on long horse treks up to Pratomagno. After the day in the saddle, all we think about is our final stop with the local Giaccia beer at Giocondo. With the owners always kind and friendly, you can't dream of anything better. Thank you Giocondo, for being there and not making us and our four-game friends thirsty ❤️

it's an excellent refreshment point!!
Abundant appetizers and well-made traditional first courses!!! Good meat!!
Polite and very helpful staff, they let us eat at 4pm even though the kitchen was closed by then! Very kind!
Excellent value for money!
Also excellent for a snack with a nice dessert or a snack platter with cold cuts and cheeses!!!
In short, you will want to come back!!! Tables both inside and outside so even if the weather is bad you can enjoy an excellent meal at high altitude!!!
From here with a nice walk of 45 minutes or so you get to the Cross with a spectacular view! From Trasimeno to Florence!
