15/09/2025: Fabulous restaurant! Italian specialty and typical immersion. I highly recommend a beautiful lunch filled with taste memories.
14/09/2025: I've known this restaurant since the '90s, but for various reasons, it's been a while since I've been back.
It has a slightly retro style (in a good way), but it's very well-kept and very original.
The first thing I really like is that they don't take reservations, they don't take turns; you just show up and ask for a table. I dare say, fantastic!
The service is very fast, professional, kind, and attentive to the customer, which isn't always the case.
The menu is a mix of typical Piedmontese dishes, some seafood, and other regional dishes.
We ordered:
Piedmontese appetizer consisting of four samples (they call it "poker"), including Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, green tomini cheese, and peppers with anchovies: very good, and the quantity is even good for two people.
For our first course, we ordered agnolotti del plin, which is also very generous and can easily be shared between two people.
For our second course, we had Valdostana (dry fried food, very good) and Venetian-style liver (plenty and very good).
For dessert, I couldn't resist the stuffed peaches. They cost €8, but they're absolutely worth it; they're exceptional!
We spent €85 for two, but it was absolutely worth it.
Highly recommended. I'll definitely go back; we loved it.
