Chosen for our wedding reception about twenty years ago, and it's no coincidence...the food is excellent, dishes made with quality ingredients and creatively prepared. We've never stayed, so we can't comment on the hotel, but the restaurant is highly recommended. Refined in its simplicity.

The hotel has been completely renovated from the inside out. The rooms, breakfast, service, and the kind nature of the owners are outstanding. The tranquility, and not to mention the amazing view, are all excellent. The only downside is its distance from the city and Lake Como. Those who don't have a car or transportation can't get close. Great hotel, including service, quality of food, owners, rooms where it was recently renovated, and the view. You do need a car to get to the city or Lake Como.

We stayed overnight while passing through. The room was new and very clean, with a great view, a very comfortable bed, and very friendly staff. We were able to park right in front of the door, and the breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. We'd be happy to come back if we're in the area.

Kindness, knowledge and excellent dishes animate this restaurant with a retro and homely flavor but with excellent refined and homely cuisine!

Per i 50 anni della mia compagna ho deciso di fare una gita fuori porta, tra lago e Valsassina, e di fare pranzo da Gigi, pescato quasi per caso sulla guida Michelin. Che dire, ci siamo trovati divinamente! Il locale non si può certo definire moderno, ma è comunque adeguato al contesto di montagna in cui si trova. Il servizio è molto gradevole, personale molto cortese e disponibile. Il pezzo forte ovviamente sono i piatti, presentati in maniera impeccabile e di gran gusto. Accostamenti azzeccati, porzioni adeguate e sapori classici rivisti in chiave abbastanza moderna. Panificati freschi fatti in casa di un livello superiore. I prezzi sono altini, confrontati con altri ristoranti simili, ma qua la qualità e decisamente più alta. Insomma, un ristorante da consigliare a occhi chiusi, facile tornarci al prossimo giro in valle. Ancora grazie!
