Convenient location right near main center/plaza. Friend and I split a pasta dish, anchovies and a 375 ml bottle of wine for lunch. Would visit again

Do not rely on the hours posted or even A phone call to make dinner reservations and/or check status. We were assured they would be open when we called at 9:15PM, returning to our apartment that was was immediately adjacent for a week. Upon our arrival at the business, the front desk woman dismissed us, and refused to seat us at 9:37 PM because “the kitchen is closed.” After 3 hours of train rides and counting on it because of phone verification in Italian, it was disappointing to say the least. Photos attached of the establishment clearly still occupied. We avoided this location for the rest of the week because of a simple rude response, but I hope others may have a better experience. There are no shortage of other fine options.

We had a great experience with the food, and the prices were fair considering it's in the center of Vernazza and right on the seafront. The only downside was that they practically kicked us out at the end of the meal to seat other people without charging us anything.

I'd like to go back; I abandoned the area years ago because of too many tourists. In the '80s, I ate the amazing trofie with pesto, green beans, and potatoes. And I returned several times until 2003. I remember the waiter Tonino, who was very friendly and welcoming.

The grilled fish was very good, fresh and beautifully presented. The waiter was friendly and helpful.

Been there for the 1st of May weekend. We stayed inside, smart choice, because we had a very good and rapid service. We had a good wine, suggested by the waitress and the best pasta con vongole I’ve ever had!

We really enjoyed it, the food was great, the waiter was fantastic and very friendly. Yes, you shouldn't be in a hurry, but on vacation you have time ☺️ that's what it's for! We were lucky enough to strike up a conversation with the Brazilians at the next table 🇧🇷, they were so nice.

Excellent food, a little background music would be nice, but the food was delicious and the service was good. The ravioli and the Aperol were excellent.

A beautiful spot at the end of Vernazza's main square overlooking the sea. Delicious, almost freshly caught fish. Very friendly and helpful service.

UPDATE MARCH 2026 Unchangedly excellent cuisine – super-tender lemon char, very succulent and aromatic sea bream (with excellent olive oil), excellent tiramisu, outstanding baked char, an exceptionally interesting wine list – and very attentive service! We can understand the negative reviews for this restaurant to a small extent. APRIL 2025 It's astonishing how the negative reviews for this restaurant on this platform came about. We ordered a grilled sea bream for two. The large fish was cooked to perfection and yet still succulent – ​​an absolute masterpiece of culinary art! The homemade tiramisu is fantastic. The fact that the Google reviews don't reflect reality is also evident from the situation on-site: even on a Monday, all the tables were occupied by multiple people.
