Da Genio In Genova

I frequented this place almost every day for a couple of years when I was in Genoa for study. The owner is always very kind and friendly. I ate the best pesto I've ever had here. The quality/price ratio, in my opinion, is excellent. If you're passing through Genoa, you absolutely must try it.

A little gem offering excellent Genoese cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and Michele entertaining with stories of the old Zena. We had a wonderful time; it's truly a high-quality restaurant, just like those of the past.

When you look for Genoa, you find it. You don't find perfection, you find it, Michele! The one who makes you pesto like his dad did for 70 years and at the same time jokes with you, even though you're 20! If he tells you he doesn't have a dish, he's happy!! It means he's buying day by day!!! Realities that are disappearing and must be protected. With an average spend of 35/40 euros, you leave with a happy stomach but, much more importantly, with a light soul!! In addition to the pesto, I highly recommend the homemade pansotti and the stuffed anchovies!! As a fishing lover, he occasionally offers the paranza caught by himself!! Lots of bones, but delicious!!! The guzzu, a sparkling house wine, is also excellent!!! Tradition in Genoa is genius!

The trofie al pesto is excellent, and the desserts are exceptional. The service is kind, a true authentic Ligurian restaurant. ❤️

Trattoria tipica genovese in una zona magica.. nel cuore della vecchia Genova. Il cibo è cucinato bene e rispecchia la tradizione. Servizio amichevole e cantina ben fornita. Una garanzia di autenticità.

Ottima cena di lavoro in questa osteria molto conosciuta a Genova ma personalmente non conoscevo. Classici sapori genovesi a tavola, servizio cortese, consigliato sicuramente.
