Wonderful meal. The waiter, Gaspare was so attentive and made wonderful suggestions. Portions very good size and delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

I'll start by saying I didn't book...we arrived and the staff immediately found a table for me and my friend. Despite the crowd, we were immediately served water and wine. The waitress Sofia, despite the crowd, was friendly, helpful and smiling. Super food...the place is frequented by locals so it's not the classic place for tourists. The owner is simply delightful and helpful. If you're in the center of Florence, I highly recommend it. Absolutely honest prices.

I go to Italy a lot and I can say that it is a place with authentic and very delicious food (it is not so easy to get it right in such a touristy city). I had the best pasta dish of the trip (duck ragout).

Our airbnb host suggested eating here and said "this is the only restaurant I eat at" and it did not disappoint. The fried artichoke hearts were incredible. Dad had to have a Bistecca alla fiorentina, so we decided all four of us would devour a 2.1kg steak. It was amazing, had an amazing slight loght char to the outside and a beautiful juciy warm red inside. Adding a little coarse salt to it from the pile on the side they served with the steak takes the flavour to a whole new level. The service was exceptional, our waiter suggested an excellent wine to go with the meat. He was very detailed in his explanation of the menu and double checked our order due to a food allergy with one of our diners. One of the best meals of the trip.

Volevamo mangiare con parenti non fiorentini una buona bistecca. Ganino è stata un ottima scelta. Bistecca squisita come anche i crostini al lardo e con funghi e salsiccia. Locale in pieno centro, tipico con un buon servizio. Consigliato mangiare all'esterno.

Ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questa osteria, fuori dal caos del centro, ma ne è valsa veramente la pena. I punti di forza sono stati la cortesia e la simpatia dei camerieri, la qualità del cibo e il tempo di attesa. Ottimo l' amaro della casa offerto da loro. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.
