We have been there and returned. Good cuisine with typical Tuscan dishes in a restaurant that still offers a genuine atmosphere. Accompany your second course with the delicious baked potatoes... The courtesy of the owner enhances this place. Keep a small space at the end of the meal for the excellent tiramisu. Advised.

Good place to try local food. It was so delicious that we went there even twice. We tried different Tuscan specialties, one highlight is the fiorentina steak. We tried "rare" following the local tradition and it was soooo good! boar pasta was also special 👍

Our tour guide recommended this place to us for lunch and so glad we came! We had the spinach and cream risotto and the artichoke tagliatelle (and of course a couple spritzes). Everything was delicious and good portions. Served with bread (some yummy, some the unsalted weirdness that Florence loves). Water was $. We sat in the heated patio tent. With so many places to choose from in the area, you can't go wrong with this one!

An experience to remember among local people. Very (but very) good food, wonderful waiters and a dining room that transports you to other times.

Our new favorite spot in Florence. Skip the lines for the big tourist trattorie and come here. The meatballs are the best we've ever had (sorry nonna!) Their parpadelle cinghiale (wild board ragu) was exceptional, and the cheese and truffle stuffed ravioli with butter was amazing. Not to mention their tiramisu and fantastic prices. We're still in Florence and have been twice. We're going back tonight to try more of the menu.

Important premise: I live in Florence.
The restaurant is authentic Florentine, with traditional dishes, and also some novelties.
I can judge the starter and steak, which is what we ate, and the rating is 10 cum laude.
In the center, I finally found a place that hasn't adapted to mass tourism.
