Our reservation was “ screwed up” and the staff fixed it as quickly as they could. Free prosecco and crisps while we waited. The steak meals were delicious, the stuffed rabbit was amazing. Great wine suggestions. This restaurant is a “ must eat at” place.

We had spaghetti carbonara and drank the house wine with it. Absolutely delicious! Sometimes it's the simple things that taste the best. And you're right in the middle of things, yet a bit removed from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended.

Cappelacci (ravioli filled with truffle and ricotta) was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Italy!! Amazing house Chianti wine as well.

It was a great surprise. In the center of Florence old town and not a tourist trap. Fantastic food. Great service. Normal prices. From Chicago perspective - cheap. Steak, truffle tartar with burratta, bruschetta, 1/4L wine, two coffees 67euro. Didn't have high expectations and I got a lot.

Solid Dinner, Local Vibes We had a great dinner at Hosteria Ganino. Ordered the 40-day dry-aged bistecca alla Fiorentina — thick-cut, medium-rare ribeye, perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. Shared a half bottle of house wine, which was more than enough for two. The roasted potatoes on the side hit the spot. The total came to €97 — great value for the quality. Tip: Call ahead and reserve — the place was packed with locals by the time we left. Always a good sign.

Volevamo mangiare con parenti non fiorentini una buona bistecca. Ganino è stata un ottima scelta. Bistecca squisita come anche i crostini al lardo e con funghi e salsiccia. Locale in pieno centro, tipico con un buon servizio. Consigliato mangiare all'esterno.

11/10/2025: I had the Prosecco, Pappa Al pomodoro, and wild boar with pasta. Everything came out fresh, was delicious, and the staff was very kind. Would definitely eat here again.

07/09/2025: I passed this place one evening and knew that I had to come back. I was specifically looking for a white base pizza. My server was super friendly and spoke really fluent English. They had a menu in Italian and in English. They did charge me a 2 euro cover charge. The pizza was absolutely delicious! They gave me a take home box for what I couldn’t finish. Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence for the first time!
05/09/2025: A beautiful corner of Florence, away from the hustle and bustle, a small, charming square. The pizza was excellent, served quickly, fresh, and delicious. Good service, and the selection was simple and quick. Much nicer than the main, crowded streets of Florence. Very affordable!
