A little pearl in the historic center: high-level Genoese cuisine, adequate wine list, dishes that are memorable (branda, cuttlefish with purple potatoes, black lasagnette, pumpkin gnocchi with fried artichokes and speck, stockfish just to name a few). Going to Gaia is a treat for the palate and a reward for yourself. You can taste and chat, away from the daily rush, in total relaxation.

An absolute must place to visit when in Genova! The food is fresh, authentic and simply delicious 😋 We love it so much that often go for lunch and dinner!

Fantastic experience!! I went to dinner two nights in a row!! Excellent food with superlative desserts and excellent wine! The owners are very kind and the service is super!! I think family management!! I felt at home!! I can't wait to return to this magnificent hidden place in Genoa!! It deserves a 10 with honors!! There are places like this!!

......well what can I say, there are few places that manage to pamper my palate with traditional dishes like in this small and welcoming place, just by entering, seeing the paintings, you catapult yourself into an environment from other times, the courtesy at the tables is delicious, think about it, the courses are in the right quantity, excellent preparation, excellent preparation on the wine recommendation, and we want to talk about the tiramisu.............HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It didn't make me crazy. Stockfish served without a spoon... I would have expected a little more care.

Disfrutamos de un maravilloso almuerzo en un gran entorno y ambiente. El personal es muy servicial, la comida y el vino deliciosos. Nos gustaría ir de nuevo. Teníamos quesos locales, sopa y pasta. Todos fueron muy buenos.

Buona scelta di piatti sia per chi mangia carne o pesce. Proprietario stile "genovese" Prezzi adeguati ai tempi tra i 40 e i 50 euro a testa: criticabili a mio parere i 6 euro per un quarto di vino della casa

27/03/2025: We went for lunch on the recommendation of acquaintances. Small place, very popular without a reservation we waited about half an hour. But it was worth it. Mandilli with pesto, cooked stockfish, Genoese tripe with beans, panna cotta and Marsala zabaglione. All very good, very helpful and kind staff, adequate bill. We will certainly return.
07/03/2025: Il menù con i prezzi non lo danno più. Tutto detto a voce. Ciononostante rimane un locale dove si spende il giusto. Piatti buoni, ma pane orrendo.

01/04/2025: Good restaurant, generous portions and carefully prepared. Kind and helpful staff. In the center of Chiavari .... easily reachable. Decent prices...
31/03/2025: We booked for Saturday lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Table of 12 people made up of school friends with their wives/husbands... in short... a horde of loudmouths. Mrs. Adriana welcomed us as if we were in her home, showing us, with great passion, the correct path to take. We had booked a mixed starter for everyone (because it's only on the menu on Saturday for dinner and Sunday for lunch) and that's where the idyll began... We started with tuna, tomatoes and onion... mouth-watering... cuculli, stuffed calamari, fried anchovies, scampi with gorgonzola and I can't remember what else because when I tasted the calamari with beans my taste buds exploded!!!!!! we continued with the main course, obviously all different (the chef must have hated us!!!) and between ravioli with ragù, fried calamari, calamari alla diavola, muscles, linguine with clams, linguine with pesto and bagnun.... it was difficult to decide which was better. all the staff accompanied us throughout the meal, explaining each course in great detail and were patient when we asked for further clarification. Everything is abundant and of the highest quality. Mrs. Adriana won us over with her frankness and truthfulness! We will be back very soon because the Cantina Reggiana was a very pleasant discovery!!!!! Please book in advance.....
