The food was really good. I don't usually drink wine with meals, because I like to savor the flavor of my food as it is. If it's good, there's no need to add anything else. And these dishes were really good for me. The place is "typical" of the alleyways, so outside you find yourself in a place that's not exactly pleasant in terms of smells, and you have to be careful where you step. Some might interpret this as a "typical experience"... Inside, it's simple and clean, but any flaws would quickly be offset by the quality of the food and the service. We'll definitely be back.

We went there on the recommendation of the hotelier where we were staying for a visit to the city. The restaurant is located in a small alley of a main street. Given the alley, a table inside the restaurant is recommended. The entrance is on the balcony and you are immediately welcomed by the dining room staff and thanks to the reservation we did not have to wait and were immediately accompanied to the table. The room is sometimes air-conditioned with good lighting and also the noise was not high; the wine list is quite varied as proposed in addition to the house wine in bulk. We had two first courses, trofie with pesto, green beans and potatoes and testaroli with walnut sauce, satisfying courses followed by two courses of fried anchovies, some frisceu and some paniaette. The wait for the courses is also good, allowing you to chat among the diners and observe the beautiful restaurant with pleasure. I would only recommend describing the course at the moment it is brought to the table. The price paid is approximately average for the quality of the food as well as the place itself.

For me one of the best restaurants in Genoa, an experience that left me speechless. The sea bream rolls were simply sublime, I have never eaten anything like them. Every bite was a real journey of taste. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, finally the location made the evening even more special.
