da Gabrisa In Positano

One of the best dining experiences I had in Europe! Positano is a bustling tourist hub, but da Gabrisa is a hidden gem that’s a little further uphill than other restaurants. The hike is brutal ngl, but the view and the food are worth it! We got there half an hour earlier than our reservation and they fit us in right away. We chose this place specifically for their vegan menu, and oh boy, it was fantastic! As a vegan in Italy you can count on marinara pizza and bruschetta, but it was great to have some more options. We tried almost everything on the vegan menu and loved everything except the pizza di scarola. It was good, but the linguine and cheesecake were exceptional. We also had a bottle of moscato that was the icing on the cake of a great dining experience. Oh, and don’t get me started on the views and the atmosphere! Drop dead gorgeous views from all the outdoor tables. Just to be sure we got a spot outside we reserved our table in advance with a note requesting a table with a view.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant by coincidence, and the service was beyond amazing. The food was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was incredible as well.

Most expensive dinner during our three days in Positano. Big plus for the atmosphere overlooking Positano. Otherwise maybe not worth the money. Good cheeses for starters and absolutely delicious lemon spritz!

The food was truly some of the best I’ve ever had. We loved the pumpkin flower entree, the complimentary fried pizza and the cheese cake. The food was so delicious that it brought tears to my eyes (I am not exaggerating). We were there a year ago and I still think about it often. Vegan options were available. The waiters were very polite and friendly as well.

Had a lovely dinner here outside with a beautiful sunset view. Great wine selection as well.

Amazing meal. Price is typical for the area but wow the risotto and sea bass was phenomenal.

I want to preface this review as someone who has travelled all over italy and lived here for over 2 years. I’m not a tourist, and look for local gems that have a certain level of local feel combined with attention to detail. From the view, to the service, location, and the first bites of the bread….fantastic all around. The view is simply spectacular, but more so are the people. The bread is always the first indication of the quality…. And it was fabulous. Our dishes were spectacular - fresh across the board and very well presented and plated. I had the vegan salad to start and the sea bass as my main- very very very fresh and wonderful and the cut and cook was perfect and aromatic flavours. My partner had the UOVO, PATATE E TARTUFO to begin and it was the best he has had in italy, followed by the lamb which was succulent. Attention to detail is clearly present from the waiters to chef, to staff. Interior is very clean, washrooms are very clean. We will certainly be back. Fantastic and compliments to the chef and all. Highly recommend ❤️

Fabulous Food and views if you sit outside Summer is very warm But views still great

A local recommended that we stop by this restaurant. She told us that the chef was award winning and he did not disappoint. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. The food was delicious and the service was prompt.
