I was looking for Rome, and I found it! Da Domenico is a true free-range trattoria, where the flavors are the unmistakable ones of authentically traditional cuisine. Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. You don't leave hungry or with the unpleasant feeling of having "wasted money". Welcoming environment, not suitable for jocks and snotty people.

We found this place by chance, and as luck would have it, it was perfect. We got to know Roman cuisine and were thrilled. The price-performance ratio is absolutely top and absolutely recommended. Just for example 1l house wine for 5 euros, where can I get that today and a very good one at that. So if you are in the area then come by but be sure to reserve in advance. On the 3 days we were here everything was fully booked. I took photos of some of the food we ate, but it was way better than I could take photos of.

Rustic but excellent place, typical Roman cuisine of REAL EXCELLENT QUALITY The baked suckling pig with potatoes was spectacular not to mention the portions I found the service a bit confusing and too rushed in the sense that if I'm eating the starter you can't bring me the first course... Otherwise, an excellent discovery for a quiet and unpretentious but good quality lunch

20/02/2025: Excellent food!! The staff is very kind, the kitchen is fast and efficient. Very welcoming location.
27/01/2025: We came to Rome for a date and found this restaurant. When we entered we were scared by the crowd but we were too hungry. Surprise! Excellent service, congratulations to Andrea who advised us very well; excellent artichoke and pecorino tagliatelle, but also the cacio e pepe tonnarelli eaten so good. Highly recommended we will return.
