Typical Piedmontese restaurant, at the top of Berzano San Pietro, a town near Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Albugnano. The appetizers and agnolotti were ok, the desserts were excellent (we tasted tiramisu and sacher), the house's barbera in bulk was ok. The service was fast and courteous, the restaurant was a little noisy.

If you want to eat typically Piedmontese food this is the right place. Quick and accurate service despite the large number of diners. We decided to get a bottle of Fortenera (just to taste an unfamiliar wine) and the producer told us the story of this wine: absolutely worth trying!

Siamo stati con amici in questo locale perché mi avevano parlato molto bene del fritto alla piemontese. In effetti il fritto è fatto bene, però vi è un grosso problema: Il locale non fa per tutti il fritto, ma ogni commensale ha la possibilità di scegliere alla carta e contestualmente chiedere il fritto per lo stesso tavolo. Così facendo si creano due problematiche: la prima i tempi di attesa sono stati lunghi, il fritto arriva tutto in una volta in un unico vassoio, così che devi essere veloce a mangiare altrimenti si raffredda. Inoltre altra piccola nota dolente non è così facile fare il bis, sempre per i tempi di attesa, troppo lunghi...così ti passa la voglia. Fatta questa precisazione la qualità del prodotto in rapporto al prezzo e più che sufficiente. Non mi ha entusiasmato il cotechino, così come gli antipasti. Buona la scelta dei vini. Locale un po' datato, servizio molto cortese, anche se il servizio è um mix tra trattoria e ristorante.
