I stopped for lunch. It was a pleasant surprise! Good selection of first and second courses. What can I say? Few frills and lots of substance. Unbeatable menu. Excellent value for money. Well done Claudio, I admire you!! 👏👏

Claudio's has been a trusted restaurant for us for years. My parents used to go there when they were newlyweds and introduced us to this place with its excellent cuisine! Their specialty is especially their 🐟 dishes, but the 🎃 tortelli, the salmon and zucchini-filled ravioli, the speck and brie garganelli, the seafood risotto, and their pistachio tiramisu 💚 are also worth a try, which is my favorite dessert. Their waffles are also super good!

I'd been here a few months ago and had a 9* risotto, and yesterday I had pizza and I have to give it the same rating. Really, really good!! The service is fast and very friendly, but not the most attentive, but that's okay. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but it's clean and welcoming. The prices are average, and parking next to the restaurant is limited, but you can use the one at the penny market across the street.

17/10/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and the owner, even though she's alone, is very friendly, attentive, and always on point. Quality food at prices you won't find in Bergamo. I recommend it to everyone, but book a table at a few tables, as it's always full. Congratulations, and well done. See you soon!
27/09/2025: A welcoming, intimate, yet informal venue. The menu offers quality dishes, including excellent cured meats and cheeses, zucchini flowers, and other seasonal specialties. The owner is friendly and helpful! Recommended for both an aperitif and a full dinner.

25/11/2025: I strongly recommend the local homemade raviolis called "casoncelli alla bergamasca", they are excellent! My friend had local cheesecake (made of ricotta?) and that was good as well. Note that the prices are bit higher than what Google maps claims (10-20€/person), it's more like 20-30€/person as the dishes are supposed to be ordered together (primi Patti+ secondo Piatti) to actually get full. They will bring a basket with low quality bread automatically and it will cost you 2.5€... It would have been more ok, if the bread was actually decent.
