Small square where you can meet up with friends or even alone, no problem welcoming you with helpful and jovial staff. Pizza, meat or first courses are all excellent. Located in the historic part of Avellino, on the left side of the one-way road that connects the old customs to via Luigi Amabile towards Piazza Kennedy. There is no parking, so it is quite difficult to find a place for your car nearby.

In assoluto la pizza senza glutine piu buona della storia! Locale accogliente, servizio gentile e cortese, vasta scelta di piatti glutei free. Ci ritorneremo

I'm sorry but at least it's a lot cheaper on pizza... it has low prices but the quality of the ingredients is poor... a claustrophobic environment due to the limited space...

Very nice place, designed like a square with porticoes and windows decorating the walls instead of the usual furnishings. You can sense that the business has a glorious history, the calamari and saffron risotto was practically raw. I will go back anyway if I return to Avellino because bad days happen to everyone.

Small place in the historic center behind the former customs house. It has about sixty seats. There isn't much space between the tables. In summer there are 5-6 tables outside, on the street in front of the restaurant. It is both a trattoria and a pizzeria. The pizza is good and the price is average. On Saturday evenings it is advisable to book. The waiting time to be served is about 45 minutes because it has quite a few looking pizzas. It is a little difficult to find parking in the immediate vicinity, which however requires a fee. Overall: recommended.

23/10/2024: One of the historic restaurants/pizzerias for people from Avellino and beyond. A warm and welcoming place, full of memories for those like myself who have always frequented it and have seen dozens and dozens of places open and close in the meantime. The pizza is excellent and even more so the first courses with porcini mushrooms or truffles.
07/10/2024: A great super top service. Qualified staff for any information on the courses..... I highly recommend going to eat pizza in the evening at the Hosteria del Tritone in Avellino, specifically in Ospedaletto, not to mention the food enjoyed for Sunday lunch served with such delicacy.. ..... You won't regret it, word of Martinoilparrucchiere
