Locale molto semplice e spartano, dove l’acustica non è delle migliori ma la gentilezza e l’accoglienza da parte del personale fa la differenza. Squisiti i primi, in particolare le fettuccine ai porcini e le larghissime pappardelle al ragù in bianco di cinghiale. Deludenti per quantità e varietà sia le “verdure grigliate”, sia la porchetta fredda (gentilmente, su richiesta, stiepidita). Discreti gli assaggi di formaggi, ottima la scamorza con porcini e non troppo tenere le costolette di abbacchio. Deliziose le patatine fritte, ma così poche nella ciotolina da richiederne un’altra porzione. Buon caffè con ciambelline e prezzi medio-bassi. Se non si hanno troppe pretese lo consiglio.

A very simple and spartan place, where the acoustics are not the best but the kindness and hospitality of the staff makes the difference. The first courses are exquisite, in particular the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and the very large pappardelle with white wild boar ragù. Both the "grilled vegetables" and the cold porchetta (kindly, on request, lukewarm) are disappointing in terms of quantity and variety. The cheese tastings were decent, the scamorza with porcini mushrooms was excellent and the lamb chops were not too tender. The french fries were delicious, but so few in the bowl that they required another portion. Good coffee with donuts and medium-low prices. If you don't have too many expectations I recommend it.

Locale spartano con personale gentile. Squisite fettuccine ai porcini e pappardelle al cinghiale. Nella media l'antipasto con verdure, porchetta e formaggi. Ottima scamorza con porcini, mentre non tenerissimo l'abbacchio. Deliziose le patatine fritte. Prezzi non alti e sconto The fork applicato.

We went early on a Saturday afternoon, the service was fast and welcoming.
We took a very generous 15 euro starter, even if the grilled aubergine and courgette had too much oil. For the rest everything was very good, the excellent carbonara worthy of a rigorous evaluation.
The only flaw was the space for the table, in the end we didn't know where to put the dishes, we played a bit of tretis.
Starter, carbonara, a white quarter, a medium beer, two coffees and a water for a total of €40, it's up to you to figure out if the price was honest.
We certainly returned home with full bellies and even with some leftover cold cuts

Pleasant evening and excellent dinner at Checco's! We didn't have starters but preferred a delicious pappardelle with wild boar sauce and mixed grill with a side of broccoli. To finish, a delicious chocolate panna cotta. All accompanied by two very kind, young waitresses and the friendliness of the owner who comes by to ask if everything is going well.

We took 2 starters for 20 euros, three first courses of gricia and one of pappardelle with wild boar. The food is edible, but not exceptional, a little disappointing. Good service.

Siamo stati in questo posto con the fork al 50% e devo dire che siamo rimasti soddisfatti: antipasto di salumi e formaggi molto buoni, primi piatti abbondanti, pane e vino buonissimi.
