Friendly staff and excellent food. The owner is passionate about the historical value of his restaurant, which he has respectfully renovated.

The restaurant has charm, even or perhaps especially in the off-season. Attentive service, industrial decor, but not cold. Excellent food, particularly the octopus salad with potatoes and tagliata. A light finish with the delicious yogurt sorbet with walnuts and honey. We'll be back.

A romantic spot on the lakeside. Tables both inside and on the terrace. The pizza is very good. Torri del Benaco is a quaint little village with an ancient lemon grove, a portion of a castle, and a lovely little harbor with colorful boats that swing and tinkle in harmony with the wind.

The restaurant and its carefully prepared dishes are exquisite, and the interior dining room with its ancient vaulted ceiling is splendid. A lakeside pier in the summer. Scialatielli gets top marks. Parking is on the south side of the Scaligero Castle, 200 meters away.

New Year's Eve lunch in Torri del Benaco. We had a wonderful meal at Ristorante Da Carlo. Excellent hospitality and service. The interior is quaint, stone-built. We started with a fried anchovy appetizer. Then came bigoli with clams and bottarga, and lake fish caramels with homemade pasta. The homemade desserts were delicious and beautifully presented.

We ate well. The place is very nice, especially the inner room without a lake view. It's a shame about the young waitress. Maybe she'd be better off working in a factory if she doesn't like interacting with the public.

Gottardi vino e cucina

20/03/2026: We go to Gottardi's mainly for the bread, which is delicious, but we've also stopped occasionally for a snack/brunch. They have a wide selection of breads, pizzas, desserts, and fresh pasta, and the deli counter is quite well stocked. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: Very good pizza and very friendly staff. We often go with the guys from the team and have always found excellent pizza and fast service.
21/01/2026: Unfortunately, I arrived when it was still closed, so I couldn't appreciate the food and service. But the location, surrounded by greenery on a hill, is very beautiful.
