I was here for dinner, the dishes were very good, tasty, and plentiful. The service was very fast and professional, recommended.

The first courses are fabulous and plentiful. I recommend the gricia with zucchini, delicious.

Indelible memories of a delicious lunch

If you want a truly authentic Italian restaurant, do whatever it takes and go to Da Bucatino! A family-run restaurant, generous portions, delicious and authentic food, no frills! It's located in a very quiet neighborhood, where we happened to stay and were lucky enough to have dinner. If we had discovered it earlier, it would undoubtedly have been our restaurant of choice during our stay in Rome. The risotto was divine, very well served, perfectly cooked.

I spent a truly pleasant evening with friends at this restaurant, which was recommended to me by an acquaintance. The location is excellent: easily accessible and not too far from the city center, yet in a relatively quiet area. The restaurant has a historic and authentic atmosphere: you immediately sense that it's a lived-in place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Giustina, a longtime fixture at the restaurant, is certainly an added bonus. She perfectly embodies the spirit and tradition of this restaurant, welcoming guests with warmth and great friendliness. We were very satisfied with the food. I particularly recommend the lamb with potatoes: a truly sublime dish, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and prepared with great care. You can sense the attention to the quality of the ingredients and respect for tradition. Overall, it was a very positive experience: good food, a family atmosphere, and friendly service that made the day even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place to return to and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for authentic cuisine and a genuine atmosphere. I'll end with a positive review of the girl at the door: excellent.

It is a good restaurant. There is limited english service but you have no problem. It typical roman style cuisine. It is huge but very popular so even for lunch you should do reservation. I had no reservation so I had a table outside and it got full in no time too.

I've been to this restaurant several times, always as a couple. It's a very nice place, a typical Roman osteria. It's spacious, seats a lot of people, but it's not overwhelming. We had two waters, a bucatini all'amatriciana (half portions are also available), a portion of Roman tripe, a Roman-style artichoke, and a berry cheesecake. Total cost: €44.

Located on the way down from the Aventine Hill, this restaurant is on your way to Trastevere. It's packed on weekends, serving Italian food, but pizzas aren't available at lunchtime. They're only served in the evening. It's surprising that they charge two euros per person for service (which isn't on the menu) and two euros for tap water (which is indicated). The pasta is good, but that's typical of most Italian restaurants. 52 euros for three pasta dishes, without dessert, coffee, or drinks. Expensive.
