The food was even good, we didn't have to wait long for a table, and initially the service was nice even though we didn't speak Italian and they didn't know English. The circus didn't start until later. Probably one of the grandparents called waiters there noticed that my friend was not very good at eating, sometimes trying with a knife and fork, sometimes eating a whole piece with his hand. The pizza itself didn't have anything outstanding, being ultra thin and hard. After this action, we started being treated like crap, one waiter literally threw the dessert card at us, we had to ask for the bill several times, and then our friend finally paid at the bar because the fake waiters didn't respond. As a tourist, you have the right not to know something and everywhere except Italy they will explain it to you, here they will probably spit in your food.

Characteristic Roman restaurant, we ate very well. Abundant and tasty dishes. Everything really delicious. We were pampered in a fun and familiar environment by the great Piero, a professional and attentive waiter. I have this restaurant memorized and when I return to Rome we will definitely stop here for lunch or dinner.

Very good food, I had a 400g portion of beef steak for €20 which was excellent, I also tasted the spectacular typical bucatini. I recommend booking to avoid queues or confusion. Excellent place with an average cost of €30 per person for a complete lunch/dinner.

Paolo and Gabriele are people I have known for years and who I trust blindly. Typical Roman dishes are cooked with great care and passion. The place is always full but they always manage to find you accommodation. They are very easy-going people who, even though they could, don't give up and remain with their feet on the ground.

Was able to get a walk up table for three last night in the outside seating area a little after 2000 and it was beautiful. Food was amazing and the waiter was very kind. Our table shared three pasta plates that were all tremendous. Rigatoni, bucatoni and pici.

Qué amatriciana en realidad. Qué trattoria clásica de todos los tiempos. Excelentes entrantes y buenos postres. También aprecié que cuando devolví el vino de la casa porque no nos gustó, nos dieron la carta de vinos de inmediato. Gran experiencia!

Great space, delicious meals, super friendly and accommodating staff - would recommend to anyone looking for a more authentic foodie experience! Huge portions and great value, we left not being able to eat another bite!!

Pranzo romano in questa tradizionale trattoria di Testaccio. Presa una gricia con carciofi e bucatini all’amatriciana. Buoni entrambi ma il sugo dell’amatriciana leggermente “dolciastro” e la gricia con carciofi chiaramente congelati e quindi poco saporiti. Comunque piatti molto saporiti e servizio veloce, gentile e sorridente. Prezzi buoni.
