Typical Roman trattoria with a family atmosphere, genuine food and perfect company

We spontaneously got a table at 7 p.m., and the food was fantastic! The prosciutto pizza (wafer-thin – typically Roman) and the pasta with vongole, mushrooms, and yellow cherry tomatoes were a dream...very friendly and attentive waiters! Excellent value for money!

Took a 35 min venture here because of all the great reviews. We ordered the steak, spaghetti pomodoro, and roasted potatoes. Every single dish was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. No substitutions for food- ex: spaghetti pomodoro can’t be bucatini pomodoro, since bucatini plate is with a different sauce. Front dining is a little tight as the tables are very close together. They have a couple toilets that are clean and actually have a toilet set and paper 😂 Staff are all so nice and attentive. The Only downside I found was that when we paid, the man said “you can add tip to the card or cash on the table.” I was going to tip regardless because the food and service was amazing so it was deserved and intended , but to have that mentioned when Italy is not a tipping culture like the U.S., it was odd and distasteful. Other than that, I would absolutely return here and wish they had this restaurant in my hometown. 45€ for the food, bread service, coperto (service fee), sparking water, and a still water. So worth it.

As usual, an experience, more than a dinner. This time I recommend a focaccia burrata, puntarelle and anchovies, with an incredible flavor. I definitely recommend the place, with the appropriate reservation
