The place is very original, I've never seen anything like it in Rome, and for
this reason alone, it's definitely worth a stop; the
staff is friendly; as for the dishes, being
Roman, the carbonara and the
cacio e pepe are good, but they're not special,
as is the chicken curry, in which you can
recognize the color of the curry but not the
flavor. I would definitely go back for the
atmosphere, but not for the
menu. This is my honest opinion.

Went for dinner at 7:30. They opened at 7 and all the staff were rushing around us and the music was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation with the person next to you. The food was good, small portions. As soon as we sat down, we were brought bread without ordering it and later charged for it. The waiter slammed the main food down on the table. A short time later they came back and took my food plate and the full bag of bread whilst I was still eating… hunched over the plate chewing.. . They scrunched the bag of bread after picking it up. Ordered dessert which was good, asked if we want coffee to which we declined and then we were told to leave immediately….?? There was only an around 3-4 other people on the restaurant. I don’t think the staff care about the customers to much, everything feels like an effort for them.

Simply perfect carbonara: creamy, enveloping. The pasta is cooked to perfection, and the egg custard has just the right consistency, without ever becoming heavy.
The tiramisu is the perfect finish: light, balanced, with velvety mascarpone and a hint of coffee that awakens all the senses.
Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere: an experience that makes you want to return immediately.
Five full stars, well deserved.

Feeling at home in a restaurant isn't an everyday experience. Eating well and enjoying unbeatable value is also rare these days. A history of dining (and much more) in Ponte Milvio, in northern Rome. Top-notch.
