I was invited to a birthday pizza party. Everything was delicious and authentic. Pizza topped with fresh ingredients. Delicious supplì. Excellent bruschetta. Ascoli olives. Giant but delicious calzones. It's run by capable and enthusiastic people. "Keep it up! I'll be back! For lunch."

Villa Abbamer - Ristorante

15/02/2026: A villa surrounded by greenery where every detail is meticulously cared for. An oasis of greenery and peace. Inside, you're greeted by artwork. The room is welcoming, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast offers a selection of sweet and savory options. We were fortunate to be welcomed by the owner, a kind, affable, and highly cultured person. What more could you ask for?

Gelateria Il Pellicano

01/10/2025: I wish I could leave a better review but I feel like it's gone down. This used to be our favorite place when we went to Rome but some of the flavors have changed a bit in taste. The zabaione doesn't have much marsala taste and the pistacchio didn't have much flavor at all. Not sure what's happened but I hope it gets back on track soon. We'll try again next time we're in Rome. Maybe it was just a bad batch for them.
