Last night at dinner in this place where you can breathe an air of tradition. As soon as you enter, the welcome is the cheerful and friendly one you expect in Bologna but which is no longer found everywhere. The tables are very close but it is part of the convivial atmosphere. Punctual and kind service as well as fast. We ordered classics such as tortellini and passatelli in capon broth, both good. Prague ham with cream and apple fritters is also a good dish. The selection of boiled meats is excellent and plentiful, with good quality mixed meats served with side dishes, all not to be missed, including the mustard. The price is absolutely adequate for the quality and service. Perhaps we would like a wine list at the table. However, a place recommended for everyone. We will return to try the roasts and the schnitzel, which looked very inviting.

TOO EXPENSIVE We ate 1 plate of boiled meat, 1 plate of roast and 1 cutlet with baked potatoes + 1 water and 1 house wine and 3 desserts. It was all good but honestly 122 euros for this lunch is really excessive. Experience not to be repeated. I love this type of historic venue with a long tradition. True safeguards of the peculiarities of the territory. Characteristic family business that offers both classic and refined dishes from the Emilian tradition. The boiled meat trolley says a lot!! And then, being a lover of trifle, here you can find the one like grandma used to make it....tooop!!!

Really tasty food, family atmosphere and nice people working at the store. Its obviously run in a family environment. However the portions are relatively small and on the expensive side. I expect a bit more amount of meat on the boiled roast. Two people 80€ for not eating full is expensive for me. However i don't know the price trends in Bologna. I like the store i just wish i could have left full.

Bertino never disappoints himself! Excellent lunch with colleagues. Service and friendliness always at the top! Claudia is a wonderful "hostess".

It’s so delicious, the stewed set meal for 23 euros… UUs, go for it! 💪🏻 Remember to pair it with sparkling red wine. If you don’t know the name, ask the waiter. 👑!

Traditional place, boiled meats were good, as was the roast even if some traditional cuts were missing, sad tortellini, the broth was good, but it seemed more like the result of boiled meats than a broth prepared specifically for tortellini... Tortellini filling not worthy of note

On y vient surtout pour l’excellent “carrello dei bolliti” (différents morceaux de viande de bœuf bouillis et du cotechino, accompagnés par des sauces) , mais tout est bon…nous avons commencé avec des tortellini et des passatelli de grande qualité servis avec leur bouillon traditionnel et terminé la soirée avec une zuppa inglese sublime. Le restaurant est sympathiquement bruyant avec un brin de confusion aux caisses, mais nous avons passé une excellente soirée et je ne manquerait pas d’y revenir. Réservation nécessaires même hors week end

Locale rinnovato dal recente incendio, ma che ha comunque mantenuto lo stile classico della trattoria. Buona scelta tra le pietanze classiche bolognesi, molto buone le lasagne e le tagliatelle al ragù. Come secondi, oltre alla classica cotoletta, c'è il famoso cartello degli arrosti e del bollito, accompagnato dalle varie salse e contorni. Imperdibile la zuppa inglese. Prezzi nella media, ma non esagerati per essere in centro a Bologna.
