Da Bertino e Figli In Bologna

A historic restaurant in the center of Bologna. I went there fearing it had become a tourist-only place, but the tradition lives on! A varied selection of boiled meats, homemade pasta, and even the tortellini. The restaurant has both an indoor dining room and tables under the portico (a bit close together, but space is limited and there's a lot of customers). Reservations are required. Quick and friendly service. Prices are reasonable.

A great rustic Italian restaurant at a medium price point. This restaurant had it all for me: Great food and great service with an old school feel to it. They have lots of classic dishes from Bologna, so I can highly recommend this place. On my vacation I am looking authentic Italian experiences and I feel like I found that with this restaurant. It is the small things that make something feel suthentic and in this case rustic. The tray they use to wheel out the dishes, the waiter putting the parmegiano cheese on your dish himself after asking you, the age of the waiters and overall just the atmosphere. The staff was really great. They really take the time to engage with you eventhough English isnt their primary language. The waiters might even be the owners if the place. They really care when you tell them you enjoyed the food. As a starter I had a plate of various meats which was a bit dissapointing. It could be that I had didnt quite understand the menu, but It felt very badic. It consisted of slices of ham and salami that could have come straight from packages from the supermarket. The main dish, a classic lasagna, was superb and tge home made dessert aswell. As long you avoid the luncheon meat starter you will have a great time here.

We had homemade pasta and gnocchi. The pomodoro alone was so delicious. All the dishes were delicious, and the waiters were very friendly.

Da Bertino is certainly a historic restaurant in the heart of Bologna. The atmosphere is a bit dated, reminiscent of a typical 1980s diner. The food is quite good and the prices are quite fair.

Uniquely delicious food and great service from the entire staff. Very cozy atmosphere.

Ho 65 anni e frequentavo questo posto con la mia famiglia quando di usciva con i parenti la domenica.L’atmosfera era pressoché la stessa,la cucina forse più ruspante ma le lasagne ,le tagliolini alla romagnola ,la bolognese ed il carrello (che poi carrello non è…ma una postazione fissa nella sala)di bolliti ed arrosti sono tutt’ora buoni. Servizio amichevole seppur professionale,carta dei vini molto basica. Spesa di 50 euro

Personale gentile e disponibile, i primi sono davvero buonissimi, come anche la cotoletta alla bolognese e i dolci. Consiglio vivamente.
