A dear friend and I ate a boiled meat, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water and two sweets zuppa inglese. 95 euro. Bertino isn't cheap and the food is normal.

We went here for dinner for a friend's birthday. The food was delicious, and the zuppa inglese dessert is a true institution. We thank waiter Alberto for his excellent service, his friendliness, and his courtesy. An experience we'll repeat!

Thanks for the welcome!!.. even at a bad time, but unfortunately today we were tied down by commitments. We want to come back as soon as possible to eat what we couldn't today 😁. Traditional place and cuisine, excellent service and a bean soup first, and a zuppa inglese after, which made me go back in time and feel like home. See you soon.

An authentic place with a tradition of meat dishes. The meat cart enticed me into visiting, and it far exceeded my expectations. The meat cart (boiled or roasted) is plentiful, and the sauces are exceptional. The house zuppa inglese/cream soup deserves an honorable mention. A must for meat lovers.

It's always a pleasure to return to Bertino, one of the few historic restaurants in Bologna that hasn't lost its charm over the years. The dishes are very high quality (including a spectacular boiled meat dish) and the service is always attentive and courteous. The prices are fair.

12/02/2026: Passatelli in broth, just like my grandmother used to make. Their homemade dessert was also delicious. 5/6/25: Baked guinea fowl and pan-fried chicory. Everything was excellent.
02/02/2026: Traditional Bolognese cuisine, a timeless tradition. The staff is extremely friendly, highly recommended.

14/02/2026: A good Bolognese osteria with a completely traditional menu. Tortellini in brodo weren't entirely convincing. The crescentine were a bit heavy, but the mortadella was good. Prices were reasonable considering the central location.
