The food is okay, with a nice local touch and feeling. Was delighted with the pasta fresca sarde e finocchietto, grilled polpo with pistachio cream was delicious as well. Giuseppe was a very nice, friendly, and amiable waiter and host. The only thing missing was good extra virgin olive oil. This is not just the case at Da Bacco, but at many other restaurants in Palermo, Sicily, and Italy in general. It’s a shame that in the country known for some of the world’s best olive oils, the majority of restaurants and trattorias serve poor-quality EVOO.

Guiseppe did the number 1 basicilo spritz in the world! Finished it in second! Highly recommended! The staff is so professional! Service is fast, amazing food! We will come back!
