Amazing amazing amazing - we really enjoyed dinner here. The hostess, Virginia was simply lovely and super helpful. The food was amazing - specially the rabbit ! Great to see some restaurants standing the test of time !

It was easy to find and the food is decently priced. Staff were very welcoming and nice.

I took one look at the old ladies in the kitchen and said, yep this is where we'll find nonna's cooking. We had traditional wholesome food that we love. My partner had the roast coniglio with garlic and rosemary. He said it was like eating his mum's cooking again. We also ordered the rigatoni and a few seasonal side dishes which were yum. They still have the squat toilets to make the experience more authentic. We loved that it was away from the loud crowds from the main area too.

Found in an online guide to Rome's best trattorias, I think it's definitely worth a spot on that list. The waiters are very friendly, and the wait is short. I ordered the rigatoni with pajata and the pine nut cake. The pajata was incredibly tender, and the sauce was perfect (no, phenomenal). The portion size was just right, as was the pasta. They brought bread with the pasta (I don't usually mop it up with bread, but with this sauce, it was a must), which was crispy and of fairly good quality (which is no surprise!). The homemade cake was also delicious. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was the right place, seeing families with children sitting there, which adds a very homey feel to the atmosphere. I've been to five different restaurants in Rome so far, and I can say with certainty that this one is the only one that made me feel at home.

If you're looking for something local and very good...this is the place. Family atmosphere and VERY good. Excellent house wine at a fair price.

Perfect place for a simple and delicious meal.

The place does a few things that I really appreciated, for example having dishes that are tied to days of the week, making it feel fresh and festive. However, house wine was not very good...

... è una esperienza, fuori dai canoni tradizionali di ristorante, si mangia il piatto del giorno con eventuali varianti. Si condivide il tavolo con sconosciuti prima...poi non più. Da non farsi mancare se vai a Roma.
