If you're passing through Rieti, this might be one of the best culinary discoveries you'll ever make. The owners are disarmingly kind, and the food is simple yet carefully prepared. What makes the difference, however, is the quality of the ingredients, which are entirely local and prepared without unnecessary frills. Expect a very friendly and welcoming interaction with the owners. I was candidly asked to welcome a guest who would otherwise have remained standing, in the utmost respect for the sociability and courtesy typical of an Italian lunch (and I found myself at the table with the former mayor of Rieti). It's a restaurant where they try to please everyone, always with a smile. I'll definitely be back.

Good food - in the historic center of Pirno they serve and recommend traditional local dishes (Sabina), the costs are pleasantly reasonable: for three people we had 2 amatriciana and a polenta as first courses and for the second course pork and meatloaf, the whole washed down with the house wine, a good red - full satisfaction.

Authentic, high-quality service. Freshly prepared, seasonal cuisine using their own ingredients. Fast and welcoming service, just like the rest of the place. The flavors are familiar yet unique—in short, it's worth a try—and the prices are affordable and reasonable. We'll be back!

We were fortunate to stumble upon this small inn in the center of Rieti. We immediately knew we'd hit the nail on the head, welcoming, right down to the aroma of the food. The gentlemanly owner described and recommended the dishes to order, and with each course, we were completely blown away by the flavors, the intensity of the aromas, and the passion and care this family has dedicated to cooking for over 100 years. We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner about the origins and dedication behind these dishes, which tell a story deeply rooted in the Rieti region, stretching back to our grandparents and great-grandparents in the late 1800s. This whole setting fascinated us, and we can only highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Rieti and the surrounding area.
