I ordered penette with salmon, well executed, but completely flavorless. Oh, and no salmon. Fetucini with Truffle was better. And lamb papardele was very good.

Beautiful atmosphere and the service was great as well. The big short fall was the food. Considering the cost and the high level service, the food fell flat for me.

Overall, was a good Italian spot depending what dish you got. The Bolognese was tasty and it was a good portion. The ravioli was a much smaller plate. Make sure to get the tiramisu, it was delicious!!

After scouring through the plethora of Italian restaurants in midtown Manhattan, Da Andrea kept coming up on every list and I decided to go ahead and make a reservation for our 10th wedding anniversary.
When we stepped out of the cab and saw the exterior, my wife said "oh this is so pretty and sparkly!" and I had a good feeling from that point on. The moment we entered the restaurant and were met by the host (the young Senegalese gentleman who epitomized hospitality), I knew I had made the right choice.
The crowd in the restaurant spoke enough volumes for me and as I looked at the food coming from the kitchen, we knew that we were in for a treat. Our server was incredible and made suggestions on what to order and was very attentive so top marks for service.
We began with the burrata bon basilico which was wonderful (I love cooking Italian food and this hit the spot). Our entrees were the penne con melanzane and ravioli di crostacei and to put it plainly, if there was more room to eat, I would gone for a second round.
For dessert we were brought an anniversary creme brûlée which was amazing and capped off a wonderful evening for both of us.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for your hospitality and kindness. We look forward to returning.
Amazing Italian , we had the meatballs , carpacio, and 3 different pasta and everything was good

The service was amazing but it can’t make up for sub par ingredients. When I eat out I am expecting top ingredients, more Whole Foods and above, less Key Foods and below.
I had potato soup and a mushroom prosciutto salad with shaved slices of Parmesan cheese. Portions were fine. Just my salad had those cheap, white, grocery store mushrooms. The garnish on my soup (I think alfalfa sprouts?) tasted like moldy dirt. My friend has tuna tartare which she said she liked but barely touched.
The waiters were very attentive and kind, so that made up for much of it. The price was $72 for just this and two cups of tea.
The atmosphere was fine, if a little tight. We went mid day so was pretty empty.
We may just not have ordered well. But not sure we will give them a second chance, we shall see!

I would come back! Cozy and welcoming. Everything was really good. We tried the carbonara pasta and the risotto with Italian sausage (specialty of the day). Delicious food! You won’t regret! Issac served us and was the best!
