We spent ten days in the beautiful city of Cattolica in September-October this year and we kept coming back to Da Andrea for lunch and dinner, because of the amazing food and fantastic hospitality of Andrea and his staff (special shout-out to lovely Valentina). We cannot thank Andrea enough for sharing the background stories about his family recipes and the local cuisine, making us feel so welcome! All the food was fresh, local, and prepared with love and care. Michelin star food and wine pairing but for a fraction of the price in an intimate and elegant dining room in the old centre of Cattolica. We came as guests and left as friends! Definitely worth a day trip if you're staying in the Rimini area.

Large place, good food, very friendly staff

I had grilled sardines and mackerel, with salad and piadina, truly delicious. Other special dishes: homemade pasta in squid broth, which I'll definitely try tomorrow, or the red mullet stew, or the spaghetti with mackerel. The bread was homemade (they could improve). They also served some biscuits with my coffee (without asking, but they were good and not too sweet). The service was more than good, but it's looking for something more. Cover charge, plate, water, and coffee €24. For the quality of the products, I think it's fair. P.S. The other customers seemed satisfied as well (especially those who had the spaghetti).

Real fish, in Romagna it's hard to find good seafood... but here, instead, authentic cuisine, fresh and genuine seafood, simple dishes crafted and presented with art in their simplicity! Fish just the way we like it, without too much fuss. Elegant and authentic atmosphere, just like our dearest Andrea! A true professional! EXCELLENT!!! Last night, everything was top-notch, as always! We had lunch here on Saturday, August 9th. The restaurant is like it used to be, with food based on recipes from Andrea, the owner's mother and grandmother. The fried fish is clearly specified on the menu, which isn't touristy, so it's authentic Riviera fried fish from the past (no squid, for example). Everything was delicious, with touches of history in the photos and paintings around the place. Andrea was very helpful and friendly, even sharing some historical tidbits. We'll definitely be back; we'll be back in Maranello soon!

The food at Andrea's is truly delicious! It's the BEST ☺️ You must try Lisa's tagliolini, but also the amberjack, sole, calamari, etc., and finally the classic apple pie...but this one is a must-try 😋😋

The place is a mix of retro, vintage, and chic... spartan but not casual, old-fashioned but modern... and yet definitely not cold. The host is warm and welcoming, explaining the origins of the dishes, which are family favorites. The portions are generous but not overly so, and the wines are local. The fried fish is not tourist-style (as specified on the menu). Those who, like me, don't like fish will find good alternatives. The zuppa inglese is excellent, and isn't shy about the alcohol, as is the case with most restaurants. I find it one of the best experiences I've had on the Riviera and highly recommend it.

I was truly impressed by this restaurant! The experience was excellent in every way. The food was exquisite: every dish was meticulously crafted, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients. A balanced menu, rich in flavor without being overbearing, and featuring extraordinary olive oil—so good it deserves a special mention! It was fragrant, intense, and enhanced every dish it was used in. The ambiance was also a pleasant surprise: elegant, clean, and welcoming. One detail that's often overlooked, but here it lived up to the hype: the bathrooms. Modern, meticulously maintained, and spotlessly clean, probably among the best I've ever found in a restaurant. A true sign of customer care.
