Da Alberto In Capri

I read quite a lot of negative reviews about the place beforehand, so I assumed that we would not come here. As it started to rain when we arrived at the main square, we quickly sat down here, under the umbrellas, to drink a coffee and orange juice. Little did I know that this was the place I didn't want to sit. It was a pleasant disappointment, because the coffee (€6) and the freshly squeezed orange juice (€9) were also delicious, although overpriced, but then again, everything in Capri was. The only negative I could say is that the service was a bit slow, there were not enough waiters for so many tables. The bathroom is located inside, up a narrow staircase.

Delicious ice cream (get takeaway and sit on the benches 10 meters further on the left, this will allow you to save double the price of the ice cream as well as having a much better view!!) Small pastry also very good, lemon paste 6€ for the whole thing, seems reasonable to me for the location

A very stylish bar and restaurant on Via Roma, right in the middle of the tourist throng. A great place for people watching.

However, it's important to consider that with a prime location comes potentially higher prices. The staff were also very friendly, easing the selection process when it comes to choosing which delicious sweet treat to enjoy. Overall, Da Alberto is a great choice for a quick and refreshing stop while exploring Capri. The delicious desserts and vibrant atmosphere make it a worthwhile experience.

Siamo in pieno centro a Capri quindi non si discute sull'esclusività della posizione...ma un cappuccino e una fetta di torta 17€ è davvero troppo anche se entrambi ottimi. Servizio un pochino confusionario, degno di nota la freschezza e qualità dei prodotti ma una visita è più che sufficiente!
