Quick working lunch with a colleague from Veneto who wanted to eat Roman cuisine. We took two very good Roman artichokes and two equally good amatricianas. Quick and friendly service, good food and reasonable prices. Compliments

The restaurant, located in an enviable position on the shores of the picturesque Lake Albano, offers an informal atmosphere with an enchanting view. However, the overall experience has its highlights and shadows. The appetizers stand out for their quality, in particular the Roman bruschetta and the porchetta from Ariccia, which certainly deserve to be tried. The first courses, such as amatriciana and cacio e pepe, are pleasant but not surprising; some found them a little salty or small in portions. The second courses are good, but not up to the standard of the starters, while the desserts do not add anything special to the culinary experience. The house wine is discreet, but without leaving its mark. The layout of the tables, with uncomfortable benches, does not invite you to relax and fully enjoy the view of the lake, which penalizes an environment that could offer much more. Prices are in line with the area, and private parking for 2 euros is a convenient service for customers. In summary, the place is ideal for an informal lunch, perhaps focusing on the appetizers and the splendid setting of the lake, but it has room for improvement to offer a truly unforgettable experience.
