My husband and I had lunch there and I have to say we had a great time. The food was excellent, and the cured meats were truly tasty and carefully sliced (they were cut perfectly, not too thin or too thick). The place is spacious and well-kept, and it's centrally located. Serving dishes in a pan was a great idea 👏 and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended.

In the historic center but not far from the parking lots, everything in Ferrara is close by. Under a portico near the cathedral, you can enjoy typical Ferrarese cuisine. The wait staff is friendly and courteous, and the kitchen staff is well-versed in local recipes. The bread rolls are traditional and delicious. The wine list is well-stocked. Your dog can accompany you and, with your permission, will receive water and biscuits. Prices are reasonable.

A wide selection of food in a casual setting with plenty of seating in the heart of the city center.
I was surprised by the wide variety of platters available; the difference isn't just in quantity (everyone is capable) but in the quality of the cured meats and cheeses.
For example, you can choose between prosciutto aged 24/30 months or prosciutto di Langhirano aged 36 months.
When it comes to cheeses, you can choose from both fresh and aged cheeses. I've never seen the menu offer the option of Parmigiano Reggiano aged 36, 48, 60, or 72 months (that's a full 6 years!!!).
Then the first courses begin...
You have to come back again and again!
