Absolutely worth trying!!! Book!!! It's always full! Great food! Delicious tortellini, excellent salami with purée, excellent garganelli with white rabbit sauce! We hope to be able to return to Ferrara and eat with them again. They accept dogs, like everywhere else, even at the castle!

A well-kept place that celebrates the Ferrara tradition with a vast choice of typical dishes. We really appreciated the platter of cold cuts and cheeses, rich and varied, perfect to start the meal. The quality of the raw materials is noticeable, and the possibility of purchasing local products directly on site is an added value. An authentic and pleasant experience, recommended for those who want to taste traditional flavours

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.
15/10/2024: Unfortunately it is closed I don't know for how long... Condolences to the family....

03/01/2025: The cappelletti in broth were good, the salama with puree was excellent, I didn't like the aubergine parmigiana, too much oil and too cooked
