Spurred on by the great reviews, my husband and I also dined here. Our expectations were high, and they were fully met. The food was excellent, with a truly excellent cut of meat, prepared practically in front of us, given that it's a shop. The cod casserole was perfect for mopping up the sauce. The place is very beautiful, and the staff are friendly, which doesn't hurt. The price wasn't excessive, but it's in line with the current situation.

Excellent place in the city centre. Friendly staff, excellent welcome and typical and non-typical dishes.
Recommended for a good lunch a stone's throw from the Estense Castle. Very large place with seating both inside and outside on the street.

Eccellenza della cucina ferrarese. Tutto ottimo dagli antipasti al dolce. Personale gentile e disponibile. Se siete a Ferrara dovete andarci. Centralissimo e cosa quasi unica a Ferrara ti fa cenare anche dopo le 21 mentre devo constatare con rammarico che la maggioranza dei ristoranti dopo tale orario ti caccia con pretesti futili.
