26/01/2025: Simply the best fish restaurant in the Gulf of Gaeta, without the possibility of denial. You will realize this by trying even just the appetizer. Excellent quality of fish.
A very fresh sea bream served with mixed grilled fish, dry and crunchy fried fish, homemade seafood gnocchi, cooked and creamed to perfection and a magnificent portion of the increasingly rare sconcigli have transformed a simple Sunday lunch into an experience unique cuisine.
If quality is also found in the "little things" and in the attention to detail, Il Rugantino also excels in the choice of bread and Italian extra virgin olive oil left on the table to season the various dishes.
Even the schnitzel ordered for the child was high quality and home made, unpackaged and served with excellent fries.
Ended the meal with an excellent tiramisu.

"Homemade" atmosphere, for lovers of good seafood cuisine of the local tradition, simple, balanced cuisine without contamination or too many frills typical of the trendy "gourmet" cuisine.
You won't find avocados, flowers, wakame seaweed or squid ink chips sautéed in coconut oil, nor various sushi and sashimi, but local fish cooked to perfection, very fresh and delicious.
