Must be knocking on the door of a Michelin star, even if the decor is unprepossessing. Innovative prawn & strawberry starter was a perfect summer dish. Lemon & prawn risotto was pleasant and the seared tuna tacos very tasty. But the knockout star of the meal was a black fettuccine and cuttlefish dish which was simply remarkable. Haute cuisine at a reasonable price. Well worth a try.

After years of frequent stops in Rome, I discovered this gem near the station.
Alongside traditional Roman dishes, there are many beautifully crafted gourmet options.
The service is friendly and welcoming.
The interior is welcoming, with an open kitchen. There are also tables outside, facing the street, equipped with convenient drink holders.
Fair prices.
The only flaw: the artichokes are missing! (But perhaps rightly so, given that it's summer...)
I'll definitely be back.

The staff's courtesy is unparalleled; they offer advice without being intrusive. The dishes are amazing, delicious, freshly cooked, with revisited dishes and generous portions—what else?!

Awesome dinner and truly friendly staff! But the reason I decided to write this review was the lemon thyme risotto with chopped shrimp and licorice. For me, it was the undisputed star of the evening, with an incredible flavor... fresh, bold, refined... highly recommended! Also worth mentioning are the cod croquettes, served with an addictive mojito mayonnaise, and the seared tuna, where I was surprised by the caponata and the tacos, which I hadn't initially given much thought to but which ended up liking just as much as the main course... if not more! The pistachio parfait was TOP. In short: we were pampered all evening.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! I stopped there during a stay in Rome, and the experience was far more than a simple dinner.
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with rare kindness: the owner is incredibly helpful, genuine, and the kind of person who makes you feel immediately at ease. I only asked him one very practical question: how to get to the Stadio Olimpico for Ultimo's concert, and not only did he explain everything calmly and precisely, but he did so with that typically Roman warmth that puts a smile on your face.
Between one conversation and another, it came out that I was trying to learn how to cook carbonara properly... and that's when a mini-lesson began! He passionately explained the right steps, the mistakes to avoid, and the tricks that only those who have been cooking for years truly know.
It was one of those unexpected moments that transform a simple meal into a beautiful memory. It's not often you meet people like this: people who don't just do their job, but do it with heart and a desire to share.
A restaurant I recommend not only for its welcoming, family atmosphere, but also because you feel truly listened to, welcomed... and even a little Roman, for a few minutes.

Be sure to try the pistachio semifreddo for dessert. I came back the next day to eat it again.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. But the restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the food. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good food.

This restaurant is located opposite Termini Station. There are a few tables outside and a pleasantly furnished indoor dining room. My family and I visited here. The dishes we ordered were excellent. You'll find dishes that respect ancient recipes but have been beautifully reinterpreted. The staff is very friendly.

Ottima cucina.

Ci tornero' senz'altro!
