The cuisine is unconventional or traditional, and the chef is excellent, even at the tables. I ate well. The restaurant is small, and with the mid-August temperatures, it was a bit warm.

A very nice restaurant located just steps from the Imperial Forum and a few kilometers from Termini Station. The staff is extremely welcoming and always available, truly worthy of praise. We tried the typical Roman carbonara, which was excellent, made with care and attention.

A very good experience, very friendly owners, and very good food. The tuna was perfect, and we also enjoyed the shrimp carbonara, although it could have been a bit more delicate. The deconstructed tiramisu was very good and interesting.

This meal was a delight after several heavy, overly cheesy, and fairly tasteless meals at tourist restaurants. I was given an amuse-bouche to start, a small tasty bite. Then I had the cod croquettes appetizer, which was three light and slightly cheesy croquettes with a homemade mayo. For my entree, I had the special, pasta with cod, mussels and other seafood and squid ink. This was just so good! Light and flavourful, delicious fresh fish with the savory taste of the ink. I accompanied my meal with a glass of wine, and had an espresso to finish everything off. Total 46 Eur. Highly recommend. The restaurant is very close to the train station, but is a few steps from the main drag, quiet and with thoughtful, personal service.

Stimulating and quality Italian food menu with a modern edge in a small and cozy location.It is slightly off the beaten path, but conveniently located near Termini station. This was a perfect meal before our departure. The menu offered classics, but mostly with tasty creative tweaks. The staff was dedicated, warm, and attentive.
We shared the mint and lime cod croquettes, which were done to perfection with a wonderful zesty twist. Our mains included the shrimp carbonara with a very rich sauce bringing phenomenal cohesion to the dish, the risotto with lemon-thyme and chopped prawns where the creaminess was in tasty rhythm with the fresh seafood, and a ribeye cooked to perfection. The pistachio semifreddo was a fun shared dessert to close the meal. But the deconstructed Tiramisu looked very fun and is in our future. Nice drinks menu, with ample wine options. Coffee and grappa sealed the occasion. (Scarce photos taken as we were really into enjoying the moment.)
It might feel a tad pricey, but it is definitely worth it with the level of care and quality the venue offers. On the list of places to return to during the next Roman visit.

We come for lunch the dishes are 20 plus and they are tiny. Nice food but the portion do not justify the price. Pasta is not an expensive base material.
Must be knocking on the door of a Michelin star, even if the decor is unprepossessing. Innovative prawn & strawberry starter was a perfect summer dish. Lemon & prawn risotto was pleasant and the seared tuna tacos very tasty. But the knockout star of the meal was a black fettuccine and cuttlefish dish which was simply remarkable. Haute cuisine at a reasonable price. Well worth a try.

Ottima cucina. Lascia un po’ a desiderare il locale perché è piccolo con pochi posti ma la cucina è squisita . Consiglio le tagliatelle al nero di seppia con gamberetti e il semifreddo al pistacchio… sublime.
